Awesome for Prius!
Awesome product and very adjustable installation! Works well on my Prius V and I fully trust it to carry my kayaks and cargo containersValue for money:On the expensive side, but it is essentially permanently installing a rack on a car. Build quality:Very sturdy and strong. Tight hold on car

Quick, Easy, Sturdy, Attractive!
*2016 Honda Accord Coupe Touring*- Yakima Corebar- Yakima Baseline Tower- Yakima BC148 Pad & Clip Set- Yakima SKS CoresThe Yakima Baseline Towers were a very easy install and they look great! Install took about an hour with each individual part. Yakima makes it pretty straightforward as to what additional products the customer needs to purchase for a complete system based on your vehicle so utilize their website before clicking "purchase." Their website also holds prior customers' car model-specific measurements that the user is recommended to pull themselves via measuring tape (included with towers) to ensure a level and intended spacings. Whoever pulled my vehicle model's measurements was quite a bit off but these will help get you started.Initially, I was worried that I'd run into spacing/angle issues between cross bars given that my car is a 2-door. Not the case at all, Yakima thoughtfully engineered the towers capable of multiple adjustments; between the pad, bar, and clip set angles all within each baseline tower. This allowed for the towers to sit flush with the sometimes awkward profile of my car's roof. I used the BC148 clip set based off of a youtuber who'd installed this on a 2017 2-door Accord, I'm not sure if the clips change configurations but I noticed the pads differ between each model, so choose these carefully as they will fit differently on each car. The Yakima CoreBar looks and fits great on the baseline towers. Hoping to install the Yakima OffGrid Cargo Basket here soon.

Great fit and quality, install not overly difficult
These fit my Honda HR-V with the corresponding base clips. I really like that this set attached to the bare roof. Setting the whole system up took me about an hour and a half to two hours. The base clips came with all of the pitch and toe adjustment settings, so following along with the instructions was fairly straightforward. Measure everything carefully and you should be fine. I almost didn’t purchase these from some reviews talking about the install difficulty, but I watched an install video and decided it was do-able. I really took my time and it took me about 1.5-2 hours from opening boxes to final install. I plan on leaving the rack up during the summer and storing it in winter. Reinstalling shouldn’t take more than 10 or 15 minutes in the future. For any other HR-V owners out there: I wasn’t sure if the base clip should go under or over the weather strip on my car in the door area. I contacted Yakima, and they sent me install pictures showing the clips slipping underneath the weather strip.I installed these with Yakima corebars, which are decently quiet but I will be adding a windfairing. I also purchased the JayLow to haul my kayak around. Everything was super solid, and I had no issues hauling the kayak. So far I’m very pleased with the whole system!

Install very easy, assembly can be tricky but very stable once installed
Install very easy, assembly can be tricky but very stable once installed. Read the directions and then read them again, take your time and they work great!

Very Sturdy!
The directions were straight forward, but a little finagling for adjustment and fit. over all it looks great on car perfect for bike rack, and so many options. The best part is I can swap over to my truck when we sell the car, although i will need new base (clamps) for the truck but worth it.

Lifetime Warranty Is Not Real
Had these on my SUV for 3 years without issue. I came home from work a couple of weeks ago and the back set was completely gone. I know they were installed correctly because they worked for 3 years and I actually took out my paddleboard a couple of days prior to the incident and everything was on solid. I didn't hear or see anything when it came off so I don't know where it happened and retracing my drive came up with nothing. I contacted Yakima support and they were more than happy to tell me how to order and pay for replacement parts. However, when I asked about the Lifetime Warranty, I got a huge runaround. They passed me off to every other department and to this day I can not get anyone to reply to my calls/messages. Beware, the Lifetime Warranty does not actually exist - it is a marketing gimmick. It only applies so long as you don't actually need to use it.

Great Product, Install lacks Precision
The installation introductions and measurements for many vehicles are just plain wrong. I installed these on a Civic 17 Hatchback using the initially provided measurements and everything just looked a bit off in terms of placement. I would say follow the instructions for tilt pitching and rotation of the towers. But for everything else, place it where it looks correct and lines up with the other side
