Its easy to use, just pump with your palm to get air out. It creates an air tight seal. Preserve your wine for a few more days. Store bottle on its side. Sized to work on most wine bottles. Here is our most popular Wine Stopper DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Directions: 1. Enjoy a bottle of fine wine. 2. Pull out your new Stainless Steel Wine Stopper and place the stopper firmly on the bottle. It will fit most wine bottles. 3. Pump the stopper with your palm several times until the lever stays down. Note: the less wine in the bottle, the more pumps are needed to create a tight seal. 4. Your wine is sealed and ready to be stored. 5. To remove, push the stopper to one side to release the seal. You will hear a swishing sound. Then pull the stopper off and enjoy your wine.

Need directions included with packaging!
On a weeknight when you just want to have a glass to unwind while you cook dinner, this product can really come in handy. You don't always want to finish the bottle but you want the wine to be fresh a day or two later. This is is the first product like this that I've tried. I mention that because it seems like the other reviews are from people who are more acquainted with this type of product. My biggest complaint was that the stopper doesn't come with any instructions at all. It would be very easy for the manufacturer to put a step 1-3 right on the box (it's plain and white so plenty of room) or to put a small slip of paper inside the box with the instructions. The instructions are included on Amazon but I'm definitely not looking at an Amazon listing online when I'm in the kitchen and I can't imagine why anyone else would be. I only went to the listing to try to find out what to do with the stopper since no instructions were included. If you only have a glass or so in the bottom of the bottle, however, you're going to find yourself pumping the stopper for quite awhile. I never did get the stopper to go all the way flat and I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not. It did give a "pop" when I released it the following day so that's a good sign! Apparently, the numbers around the top of the stopper are for remembering the date that you stopped up the bottle. However, when you first pull the stopper out you are left wondering what those numbers are for and if you are supposed to be turning the dial to a certain number for some reason to exert a certain amount of pressure or something. I certainly didn't jump to the conclusion that it was a calendar. The actual stopper is pretty straightforward once you know what to do! If you are already familiar with these types of stoppers then my experience may seem dense but I tried this out on my husband and a friend and they went through the same frustrations that I did in not knowing what to do. Simple instructions would eliminate all confusion and bump up the stars on this product. (I received this product for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.)

Half the bottle would go bad before she could drink it
A must have for every wine lover. I got this for my wife because she loves her red wine, but does not drink it very fast. Half the bottle would go bad before she could drink it. This vacuum saver is easy to use and keeps the wine fresh for days, Or even weeks. No plugs to deal with. Just one all in one device that anyone can use. I received the product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

Works
Nice looking and removed the unwanted air. This item has the ability to set it at 0 to 30, so recommendations as to when to use what settings would have been an added bonus.

Nice, convenient vacuum wine stopper
Nice, convenient vacuum wine stopper. Leaving to go on vacation..and taking the wine and the vacuum stopper with me. LOL Saw a comment about directions on how to use...it is very simple:DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Directions: 1. With that said, here comes the rest... I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review and unbiased opinion. I rely on the reviews of others to purchase items on Amazon, as well as other sites, and I do not take the review process lightly. I hope that my findings are helpful in your decision to purchase or not purchase. I do not review items that are not of use to me. I am not paid by the company for my review, and my review is the same as it would be had I paid full price.

Save those half empty (or half full!) bottles of wine!
So apparently people open a bottle of wine without finishing it... As we start to age this becomes apparent. Then you realize you've wasted a $20 bottle of wine (well half at least) and start looking for solution. This little vacuum stopper was way cheaper than the store so I thought, why not?It came quickly and easily as amazon always does and was much cheaper. Pump it up a few times and bam, wine stays better longer. I admit, it was so simple I was skeptical... but it kept a Cab Sav and a pinot well for up to two weeks. I figured the cab sav was toast but very drinkable even after that time with this stopper. You might as well order two because variety is the spice of life. I know I need another already. I received a discount in exchange for a fair review. I'm super happy with this product and have had no problems so far. I will update my review if that changes!

Great recommend
Great for keeping your wine fresh over time. The pump works well and has a nice audible click when you are finished pumping. The plugs fit easily into wine bottles and the knob on top very easily lets release air back into the bottle for easy pulling. I work as bartender working my way through my Senior Year in college. So when I buy my wine I buy the "economy" sized bottles. I want my wine to last so I can have a glass every couple of nights after work or while studying. This tool allows my wine to stay fresh both at the bar and at my house. I purchased this at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
