Does what it was supposed to do
Does what it was supposed to do. But the wrong one for bypassing the factory amp

These worked - 2005 Dodge Neon
These are perfect. Easy to use. Color coding is standard. The antenna adapter is not included but I was able to purchase separately (same brand Metra). The total price is approximately the same as the harness kits that include the antenna adapter so there's no price savings if you need the antenna adapter. Great kit though as a different brand did not work because the color coding didn't corresponds to my make and model despite claims that it did. But Metra, these just work!

Works for 2005 dodge ram 2500
Instructions are very well written and installation is a breeze. I have used these adapters on many vehicles and they always perform well and are well built.

Works as it should
Works for my 2003 Ram 1500 with the Infinity sound system. When I first hooked it up to the new head unit, everything worked except there was no sound. I knew the factory amp had no power, so after a little research, I found that the blue wire on the harness is the power for the amp. I tapped into the red wire, and the problem was solved.

Works great, but you may have to read documentation to verify mismatched colors.
Worked perfectly with my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. Two things to be aware of:1. Verify first-hand that this is the correct harness for your vehicle before your order! I made the mistake of relying on Amazon Garage to tell me what was compatible with my vehicle, and they recommended the wrong wire harness (Metra 70-1817.) Didn't realize this until spending time soldering connections and taking my dash apart, at which point I had to cut the connections, return the harness and order this one instead. Time wasted.2. The wire colors did not line up 100% with the Pioneer head unit I installed (model DEH-X6900BT.) For example, the blue wire on the head unit corresponded to the "white with blue stripe" wire on this harness. I had to read the documentation for both the harness and the head unit to verify that both wires are intended to control the same thing before making the connection. There were a couple mismatches left over after soldering everything else. Not a huge deal, but not as simple or clear as it could be, which again wastes valuable install time.

Go with Metra
I bought a cheaply harness off ...bay and regret it. Was recommended by head unit manufacturer. Thought I had the wrong harness but after a repin of one pin was able to use the cheapy one. During this episode, I went ahead and bought this Metra harness. The Metra has higher quality copper wires vs tin ones and all wires match up. No repin required. Price was about the same. Metra even makes a kit for my vehicle that includes, the harness, mounting bracket and antenna extention. Go Metra !

Metra is Decent Quality
It is a Metra wiring harness. It is the same stuff you get at Crutchfield for free when you purchase a new head unit. This is the half that goes to your vehicle's harness. You wire it up by hand to the half that comes with your head unit. I decided to solder my harness after having been cheap and reusing it like four times, each time clipping off more wire to get the old crimps off. This left me with a harness that is a little too short. So I bought a new half specific to my Alpine and this Metra and will do it again, soldering the connections this time. It is great to be able to get these so inexpensively. At the local shop the doofus owner tried to ease $20 out of my wallet for one of these, AND he told me that I would have to buy a new head to get the Alpine half. He must eat propaganda for breakfast. I told him to GTFO, went on eBay to locate an Alpine half and came here to get the Metra half for my Jeep.

Bought this for my 2003 jeep liberty and it was very simple to install, like less than 5 minutes and was ready to listen to my new radio
