UdapBear Spray with Camo Hip Holster

I bought some replacement spray, same exact product because my old can was 4 years past expiration. I tested my old unit, thought I was up wind. Well, this stuff lingers, so be careful- I found out even a little lingering in the air will get you, lol. The expiration date really doesn't matter- the old unit has been sitting within easy reach, next to my truck center console for years, in the sun and heat, etc-- still very effective!

This is powerful. I sprayed a tiny bit by mistake as I was practicing with it and you can feel the heat down almost instantaneously in your windpipe. I was hacking for over an hour. This stuff is the real deal.The holster is a bit cumbersome to work with - hard to get the canister in but easy to get out. I will use this mainly for protection against bears and stray/loose dogs.

Bought this in preparation (precautionary) for camping in the woods just in case we encounter bears or animals. We didnt have to use it (Thank God!). But it is nice to have one and having it comes with a holster is even better.

The only thing I’m not crazy.. at the top of the holster is very tight. It was a little difficult to get the canister in. I might use my old one! I haven’t used it on bears or anything else so I can’t attest to that. Giving four out of five stars just for the heck of it I don’t like the holster..

It arrived way before the date. The spray came with the instructions and a really good book that gives you advices and tips about wild life and bears. I haven't tried yet,( I hope I don't have to) but the mechanism works. Good purchase.

This works!. My husband has used this every summer for the last 5 years in Alaska. He has pepper sprayed about 6 bears that come into their camp and they don't return. I feel like the guys are safer with this than their guns. They are never without it. It sprays about 30' and is easy to use.

How could I know how this worked unless I actually encountered a bear?!? I didn’t meet a gear, thank goodness, but it was comforting to have. I will save it in my car for bad guys.

I think the products all right but I needed it for one of those hiking out west and it didn't come in time had to leave for my trip before I got it
