Muelhens 4711 After Shave for Men, 3.4 Ounce

Refreshing fragrance without a sting! I really enjoy using this aftershave because, unlike others, even though it may have a distinctive, strong aroma, it won't sting or burn your recently shaved face. And the smell accompanies you for the rest of the day. 4711 has been my favorite for ages and I was very glad to find it for sale here.

LOVE this stuff. It is a classic splash, with a bit of sting. But feels great on the skin. Its fragrance is different from any others and stands above them. Cant really describe it...like being at the beach on a breezy summer day. Perfect for anyone who doesn't care for strong, perfumy scents. It is light and refreshing. My wife cannot tolerate most aftershave/colognes, but she loves this one. I only wish that it could last a little longer---it fades fast. So...slather it on.

I ONLY rate this four stars because there is a little more sting than my beloved Proraso traditional "green" AS. It smells just like the 4711 cologne, just dialed back a bit, and fades nicely into whatever cologne you choose, though it does best with shave soaps/creams and colognes on the lighter, brighter side (more CK1 than Obsession, fore example). Quite soothing, overall. Worth the price and delights the nose even before your first cup of French roast.

My only complaint is that it does not come in a larger bottle. Something to look forward to every day, a splash of this and a small splash of the cologne. I used to wear heavy fragrances daily when I was in my 20s but as I grew older it become more of a nuisance to myself worrying about if I’m wearing too much or bothering others, no one wants to be the cologne guy.These fragrances do last a while but do not overstay their welcome. Very classy scent and it never gets old. Just a part of my daily routine at this point been wearing this daily for years now.I highly recommend this product I bet if you have a large collection they will start collecting dust once you learn to appreciate subtlety as I have. A true gentleman scent. This is all my opinion.

I really enjoy the scent of this aftershave. As others have mentioned the scent is a short-lived one...but that's not a fault, that is by design. Aftershave splash is made to decrease irritation, close up your pores after the shave, and refresh your face after the shave is done. This splash is great at all of those objectives.If you're like this scent and are looking for a longer lasting version of it, what you're actually looking for is the Eau de Colgne version of this. The EdC is a stronger version with some staying power. 4711 by Muelhens for Unisex - 2 Ounce EDC SprayAs others have stated, the scent is predominantly a strong citrus blast, followed up by an herby/musky mix that is quite pleasant, but the aftershave version's scent is only around for probably 10 minutes, the EdC I get a few hours out of it before it's run its course on me.

The story on this product is that it's one of the first colognes / aftershaves ever made. Some places list it as a men's product, others say unisex. I used it for aftershave. The smell is subtle and weak. It's like baby powder and lemon juice. It gave a quick refreshing feeling, but didn't tighten my skin much. It's not a bad product, considering what it is, but I don't think I'll be buying it again. It lacks a WOW factor.

This stuff smells decent, with notes of citrus and spice. It's refreshing.Alas, it's so weak the scent disappears within 5 minutes; that's assuming you put enough on to be able to smell it in the first place.It's very weak and not worth your money. Speaking of which, keep in mind YOU CAN'T GET A REFUND. That should tell you something in itself.Avoid this product.
