Geek My Tree GlowFlakes

Got a set of GlowFlakes and they are terrific. Easy to set up and use. High-quality build. Very cool effects, nicely done.Instead of a tree, I used some painters tape and mounted them inside a big window. From the street it looks like a tree and the effects are amazing. Very very great product! I may need to buy some more...

The media could not be loaded.  Update: Nov. 2018 Opened the box this year and only one strand works. The web site appears to be sold out and winding down?? They were still worth 4 starts to me. It made a nice display, so much so that I ordered the Party Pixel 4 pack to use this year. I'll arrange as many as work like trees on a post.The party pixels look real good !!Old review from 2017:Custom style lights for standard type price. As you can see, I shortened them to about 4 feet high. I put them outside 15 days ago. I used a gallon freezer bag over the controller with the opening down. It snowed on them and temp was as low as 15.PROS: great lights, very low amps, the remote expects to work from below 'donut'. I tilted it so it works from my window.CONS: Small ones: Flakes are a little large, flake's points catch on everything when adjusting which will actually help on a tree.

These are amazing. So easy to put up and take down. I need to figure how to program to get exactly what I want; all cascading blue all the time. However it’s been set on the default cycling through and it’s a cool light show. Both the dogs and grandson loved it!!

It took a day to get use to the larger changing lights as compared to small twinkling lights but I absolutely love the GlowFlakes now. I particularly liked the fact that I could erase the really fast flashing sequences. I put the strands on a 5 ft tree so I tucked the lights and the tree is filled with beautiful color.

I wound up buying two sets of these because they’re that awesome. I have 7.5 ft trees and they’re kind of big at the bottoms. The lights go within a foot or so of the bottom of the trees. They show up nicely from the road and my son loves changing the design. We’ve had no issues with the remote complexity. Everyone that has seen the tree wants a set of these lights. I’d highly recommend.

I sent this right back. What I didn't understand was that those lights are huge--far too large for an indoor Christmas tree -- and there is no way that we could see on the remote to make the colors stop changing. I liked the color combinations, if I could have picked my favorite and left it there. But it constantly rippled--the American flag setting, for example, was really odd.

Purchased it and within days 2 lights were malfunctioning. Returned it with no problems but for the amount it cost this should have been better quality

I had bought the tree dazzler first after reading a few reviews thinking it would be fairly comparable, I will give them that they were fairly easy to put up and I left them on for a few days thinking I would eventually like them. Nope so I saw these on Amazon and at an amazing price they came in a couple days late probably due to the season. They too were easy to put up and yes they are a bit large but I loved them bcuz they look like tree decorations when not on unlike the cheap ping ping look of the tree dazzler. I wish they still had the ability to download more light shows like they used to but I still love them definitely worth the money.
