Good fan, good cooling
Bought two of these to replace the stock fans in a TT chaser A71 case, since they're thin enough to clear the heat sink. The replacement for the top fan was effortless, installed quickly and easily. The power lead was easily long enough for a full tower case as well. The door replacement is a bit different. I bought these because they're 20mm thick, but the mounting tabs are only on one side of the housing. For the TT case, it was the wrong side, or the 'inside' of the case. This means I'd have to mount it with bolts, not the thick self threading screws typically used to mount fans. The problem with this is that I don't have any black screws, so I'll probably have to pick up some paint next time I'm near the store. Otherwise, these are great fans, virtually silent and being TDB, should outlast bearing or especially sleeve fans. It's 3pin btw, and I have a fan controller to set the speed.Edit - June,2014I noticed a ticking coming from my computer and it turned out to be this fan which is installed in the top of my case to pull air off the heatsink area. TDB fans are rated to work vertically or horizontal, so that's not the issue. What I found was one of the numerous and thin fins had flexed down and was striking the case frame. Since the frame is flexible, I adjusted the mounting screws until the blade contact stopped. Back to being silent. I'd still buy more of these fans since the thinness of the frame turned out to be a nice unintended feature so I didn't have to replace the fan. As a side note, the thermaltake fan this replaced, which I installed in the case floor, has already failed.

My use is not standard, but they do work in an 24 X 365 operational extreme setting.
I have purchased a total of 7 of these fans, in LED green and they are very good for my intended use.I run them on lower voltage from a USB hub (5 volts, not 12 volts) and then with nylon circuit board spacers with nylon nuts attached to the bolt holes in the corners, place each one atop my Apple Mac Mini's to gently move air across the roughly 7 inch X 7 inch solid aluminum block that makes up a Apple Mac Mini.In this configuration, the fan "hovers" on top of the Mac Mini with about 1/2 inch clearance. They just rest on top, I don't have to mechanically fasten them to the Mac Mini's.To get the USB connection, I used "Type A" Male USB Plugs I also sourced from Amazon. They last...I let them run 24 hours a day X 365 Days. Once every 6 months I stop them and dust them off.I need them, as I run the Mac Mini's 24 X 7 as I use that Mac Mini's as servers for my VMware ESXi cloud supporting 40-60 virtual machines. And in this configuration, with a slower speed, due to lower voltage, drop the case temperature of my Mac Mini's.So I can recommend them for quite large volume of air movement. As far as color, they were really LED green, as I tested them with other OEM "Green" LEDS, and that way, with the LEDs always one, at a glance I can see if all is well.

I couldn't be happier with this product
I was apprehensive about buying this fan for my CoolerMaster HAF case after reading some of the reviews on Amazon. However, I couldn't be happier with this product. It replaced the 230mm top fan of my case. The stock fan had become very noisy, and the fan itself was starting to separate from the motor. I was also looking to get a bit stronger fan to move a little more air as I was having some issues overheating. The BitFenix fan holes lined up perfectly with the existing holes on my CoolerMaster HAF case. As some reviews indicate, the holes aren't pre-threaded. However, I didn't find this to be a problem. I held the fan in place with my left hand while I screwed the fan into place with my right hand. The screws that came with my HAF CoolerMaster cut into the plastic perfectly, carving out some perfect threads. The BitFenix fan is super quiet - I can't even hear it. To my delight, it does seem to push more air flow through. Additionally, the blue LED lights are nice, but that really had no bearing on my purchase.I'll probably buy a couple more of these to replace the other two 230mm fans in my case assuming I still have such high regards after a few months of use.

BitFenix BFF-BLF-14025G-RP Spectre 140mm LED Case Fan, Green
Bought this to install as an exhaust fan for the top of my case, thus it is horizontally mounted. This fan appears to be suitable for horizontal orientation. It runs quiet, much quieter than another brands 140mm fan that I own and is mounted to the bottom of my case horizontally. If brightness is a major criteria for purchasing a LED case fan continue your search, this one will most likely not leave you feeling all aglow. It's not exceedingly bright but I'm quite pleased with that.As I had mentioned it is quiet but in the same token it only moderately pushes air, this fan will not be creating any tsunami's or tornado's in your vicinity that I assure you.Overall it is good quality fan for it's price point and I have ordered another to place in my second position at the top of my case and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

overall though it did what I wanted and looks nice while doing it
Took a bit of work to get it in the case, and alignment is far from fool proof. Once it was in it did its job well and the white light is just the right brightness. The volume of air it pushes is a bit less than what I would expect from such a large fan, it also is a bit louder than my 140mm fan on my water cooler, overall though it did what I wanted and looks nice while doing it.

Working as intended, but the design is flawed for mouting; by default it can only mounted as an exhaust using standard length screws. I'd purchased two to retrofit into a corsair 600 as a front intake and top exhaust. I had to purchase long bolts and nuts at home depot to mount it in the front as the screw hole mount points in the fan's casing were only on one side preventing it from being a drop-in replacement. One star off for the exhaust-only screw mount design, but the fan runs quiet and moves a lot of air.

Good
Did not come with a molex adapter like some other reviewers mentioned, but thatβs not in the product description so I just got my hopes up. Does come with a two-pin extender though. It works great, good airflow, mounting was simple (for exhaust, screws arenβt long enough for intake). Lights are bright but not so luminous to display the whole case.

Very impressed, speedy shipping, would reccomend
Would have liked to give it a 4.5 stars, but thats not an available option unfortuatly.First of all, seller was great, fan arrived in 1 day, unheard of.Product review:Arrived quickly, in polybag though and not in original packaging. Used for an older Dell XPS 9100 PC with an intel I7-920 that was running a little bit hotter than I would have liked, especially under load. This is an intake fan at the front (also bought an exhaust fan), and have a CPU heatsink/fan on order. Cheaper than having to buy a new pc.Pros:The led is quite nice. I don't see it as I dont have an clear side case, but its nice to look at when I open itInstallation was straighforward and simpleFan is lightweight with nicely curved bladesFan is very, and I mean very, quietMoves quite a fair volume of airMinor Cons:Came in a polybag with no instructions (probably to make it easier to ship)Has an add'l cable which I think might be for a fan controllerNo clue as to how long the warranty isI've included 2 pictures hereIn general, no issues, quite satisfied, would reccomend and seller was great

Decent, working fan
I bought this fan to replace the stock, front Rosewill fan of my Thor V2 case which had started making a quiet clicking noise after 4 years of use. This fan was easy to slide into my case, but it was an absolute bugger to get the screws in. I had to take the fan back out and forcefully put the screws in to get the holes to shape, then put the fan back in and screw it in. After that, the fan was quiet and I was content. However, almost 3 months later, the fan started making a quiet clicking noise. A quick chop to the front of my case got the clicking to stop and it hasn't happened again over the next 5 months. It's a decent, working fan for $10, but keep in mind the warranty lasts only 1 month.
