Brer Rabbit Unsulphured Molasses, Blackstrap, 12 Ounce

Taste and texture is excellent.. I have loved Brier Rabbit molasses since I was young. On pancakes, biscuits, waffles, even to glaze a ham. My wife uses it in her baked goods.. Beyond good. We always have friends and family wanting some of her baking each fall. Ginger Snaps, ginger bread, and even a few spoons full in milk like chocolate.. That's an old fashion way.. Another is to bake big biscuits push a hole in the center pour in a little Brief Rabbit. Seal in a bag and take for lunch if any are left over from breakfast.. One bad point was the shipping. A bottle leaked and saturated the weaker and corner of the shipping box. The other was fine.. Maybe tape the lid ? Lost too much.

Good molasses. I add it when I bake rye flour bread. I love this taste. It is necessary to pack better, because the jar was slightly stained with molasses.

I bought this to help raise my iron levels. I’d pour it into my fruit and yogurt smoothies before I blended and added whey protein powder and honey. It was very good and helped me a lot through my pregnancy. It’s very sticky so be careful not to spill it.

Product was poorly packaged. Seals were popped and one jar was leaking. This is an excellent product but may need to find another supplier

Getting ready for winter baking, Blackstrap Molasses is a signature flavor in many of my favorite holiday dishes and my usual brand now comes in plastic, so time for a change. I bought several brands to try, this is my new go-to Molasses. This has a great flavor, and is thicker than many that I tried. It is still a bit thin, but, comparing both texture and flavor, it came in on top of my testing. It comes in glass, which is a requirement for me. Plastic penetrates molasses, so it cannot be stored in plastic, and since molasses has a long shelf life, by the time you get it home it may have already spent MONTHS sitting in a warehouse or store shelf absorbing plastic, so even decanting immediately to glass doesn't prevent that plastic taste. I use molasses in place of white sugar in many baked goods, to flavor lots of beans, and stews, and molasses butter on biscuits! I have low iron, so this is a great way to reduce sugar, and increase iron in my diet. Very happy with this new addition to my pantry

I ordered 2, one had the lid seal broken and it leaked inside the bubble wrap bag. The other's lid seal was broken. There's a no return policy on this so think about how lucky do you feel because I just wasted eight bucks on one of the bottles. Lesson learned don't order this product again.

Great product! Great price and more than enough for a lot of recipes! Your are getting a lot for the size that it is! It’s also delicious! Didn’t know it would make a recipe so much better!

Brer Rabbit Blackstrap Molasses is delicious. This bottle is better than what I got in the past. The bottles with the narrow neck are hard to pour because the molasses flows slow as molasses.This bottle style is perfect. The bottle has a wide mouth that makes the molasses easy to pour. Of course the flavour of the molasses is the same regardless of the bottle design. I'll continue to purchase this bottle design for the convenience that goes along with the great taste.
