Q: How does this fusible fleece compare to pellon tp971f thermolam?

Slightly thinner, not quite as dense. I use it instead of thermolan regularly but thermolan is better in my opinion, but this is well worth it for the price savings. I still buy thermolan on occasion but this is what I use instead of it most of the time. I will repurchase this because I like to have a bolt of fusible fleece and this one isn't too expensive.

It's definitely not as thick as I thought it would be. But still very durable. I use it very often for bags and pouches and such.

Q: Would I be able to use a couple layers to make pads inside diapers or to line the inside of training pants? Or would it be too lint-y?

If you want to make quilted ones, I would recommend, otherwise, they might be too thick, in my opinion.
