Great Package.
Iāve just changed to Bullguard from F-Secure.To say Iām pissed off with F-Secure is an understatement. Over the last week Iāve had a pop-up box every two minutes telling me thereās Adware and what would I like to do? Would I like F-Secure to deal with it automatically or do I want to play a game and do it myself? Looking at Control Panel the only software thatās arrived in the last two or three days is updates from Apple, Adobe and Java. The adware appears to be something called Adware.Linkbury.M.I want F-Secure to take charge and deal with it. I want F-Secure to stop bothering me and get on with it. I donāt want F-Secure to tell me every two minutes thereās a problem. What I want is F-Secure to do what it says and āHandle automatically (recommended)ā without telling me. Just get on with it. Instead of asking me what to do every two minutes just earn your way and do the job. As it is Iām interrupted while Iām typing and only when I look up do I realise the last sentence has gone nowhere because bloody F-Secure has presented me with a pop-up box that stops the keyboard strokes going anywhere! And to make matters worse it presents me with more boxes to say itās doing the job then to say itās clear. As soon as I acknowledge the clear box I know that within two minutes the whole cycle will start again. Iāve found the only way to stop it is to ignore the āAdware Removedā box and just minimise it.I note that I also get the chance to exclude items from the scan if itās not critical. I donāt know whatās critical and what isnāt. Thatās the reason I have a program to do it for me. I just wish it could make a decision or realise what I wanted it to do the last three thousand times it asked me and get on with it!Itās infuriating! So I searched the web for an alternative online security package and saw on several sites that Bullguard came out highly recommended so I bought it and installed it. So far, so good. It seems to have done the trick. It doesnāt bother me. Everything is well displayed and it seems to be getting on with the job.I recommend it!

BULLGUARD INTERNET SECURITY - 1 YEAR, 3 USER LICENCE
The package arrived quickly by post, but I waited a few days until my existing Kaspersky 2013 had expired, before installing Bullguard. At present, I have only one PC, so installed it on that. I was impressed by the fact that, like McAfee (which I used to have 3 years ago) it provides green ticks, or red crosses against Google listed options, indicating websites that are 'safe', or are known to have malware associated with them. Also, unlike my previous Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, this Bullguard system provides 5GB of free backup in the cloud. Of course, that facility would act as a magnet to retain existing customers year on year, owing to the difficulty of relocating cloud-stored files elsewhere......One very favourable attribute Kaspersky had, which Bullguard does not, is a visible desktop icon indicating exactly when full protection is enabled, after booting up in the morning, for example. As things are, I just have to guess when that time is, based on no more than a gut feeling (and diminished sound from the hard drive) and start accessing my emails etc. at that point. All in all, so far so good. I have no reason (so far) not to recommend it.

Disappointing!
Used BullGuard for many years prior to getting a new Windows 8 driven system which came with an alternative pre-installed (M*****) security package. Enjoyed BullGuard when we had it as it was very user friendly and the support was always excellent. One year on, time to change back to BullGuard after reading the positive reviews, except for one -there's always one disappointed customer - which I ignored, and after seeing the cost of renewing the pre-installed package. Bought from Amazon to save half the price! Arrived in the usual efficient Amazon fashion but from then on it was downhill! Would not install fully after a couple of attempts. Some items not showing but basic security up and running, until I fired up the system again later and found that it was not apparently working! Panic attack! No security in place! Although a friend just told me that W8 does not need any additional security - need to research?. Due to disappointment with the new format of the BullGuard program, which seemed less user friendly than I remembered - (see other negative review) - decided to take immediate action and quickly uninstalled the program to get something else into the system. Found a free trial of AVG on the Internet which was very quickly, smoothly and fully installed with no trouble. Sighs of relief! Secure for the moment! Message to BullGuard Support sent to enquire if this reduced priced program was a full one. BullGuard soon replied in their usual very efficient and comprehensive way to inform me that I needed to change some Internet Explorer settings in order to get their program to install fully. Confusion! The free trial program slipped in (on) like a silk glove without any problems or necessary adjustments to other items in our system! Also, the new program was very user friendly and I felt that I was in control of its many functions. Executive decision to ditch the BullGuard and cancel my installation/subscription which BullGuard accepted. Thankful that I did not spend double the money on getting it! Can't think why there should be all this trouble when all the other reviews I found, bar one, are so positive. It must be an age(OAP) thing with me...?...! Oh yes, new All-in-one printer scanning operation messed up after trying the BullGuard installation....a coincidence perhaps? Will probably update the new security program to a full one in the near future. Anyone need a redundant Bullguard, if it can still be used?! Off to the charity shop for someone to try it out! Amazon support were also quick to acknowledge my problem and I kept them up to date with my actions. No wonder we keep using Amazon! They are so good!
