Works well
I'm leary of suction cups but once you latch this down it's not moving. Good quality.

Broke during first use.
Build quality:Broke during the first use. The rollers don’t hold in place and hit the windshield when trying to load the kayaks. Have to place a towel underneath it to keep it from damaging the windshield. Functionality:Would work great if it stayed in place.

sturdy
It appears sturdy and practical, will still need to try it out several times before confirming that I made a good choice

SO much easier to load the kayak
I'm not getting any younger, and the kayak is not getting any lighter. This device makes loading much easier since I never need to lift the total weight of the kayak. The photos show loading onto flat kayak racks. I use a J-shaped rack, which works fine to get the kayak onto the SUV.

Plastic gear shattered
Broke the fourth time I used it. I have used it when kayaking alone, to roll my 59lb kayak onto the rack. Didn't use it at all the first season, once the second season and this is the second time this (third) season. It grips the window as it should which I was thinking would be the likely failure point, especially on a dirty window.Sadly, the internal gear that's maintains the angle is plastic, and simply shattered.

Less than Worthless
Usually I would just ignore and go on and not write a review but there is no way that this thing could ever work because of the quality of construction. It won't stay locked in place, no mater how tight it is, and dumps the kayak. The end caps are not locking nut, they keep vibrating off and finally the suction cups are made of plastic, they do work for a while. I used a clamp to lock it into place and it sort of worked but the v shape doesn't really help much. bottom line is the just doesn't work.

Works as advertized.
I have a curved glass rear door and this roller works perfect to easily put my 12 ft kayak on my Escape roof.

Unreliabe locking mechanism
Internal plastic locking mechanism failed (I verified this by unscrewing the four screws to remove the cap and dumped out the broken pieces) while offloading my 17 ft. kayak. Product is junk! The failure resulted in scratches on my Jeep. I only used this product a dozen or so times before failure. I'm gonna buy similar from another manufacturer.
