Very Good Quality
Perfect product replacement! Worked perfectly for a 2011 Honda Odyssey with the 3.5L V6! I always recommend getting OEM replacements for stuff like this especially when its a relatively inexpensive part.

No issues. Easy to install. Fixed my problem.
It was exactly as described. Arrived on time and, when I installed it, the “Tighten Fuel Cap” warning finally went away on my 2011 Honda Pilot. Installation is pretty easy.

Perfect for 2011 Odyssey
Perfect for 2011 Odyssey getting emissions codes. Fixed them right away. Much cheaper than going to a mechanic, and doesn’t take much skill to install (it’s easily accessible in the engine bay). Do recommend a tiny Phillips head on a small ratchet to get the two screws out, and some pliers for the hose clamps.Product is legit Denso, made in Japan. The box had lots of other random stickers on it (some in Chinese, not Japanese) but I assume that’s just due to this thing getting bounced all over the earth before getting to the USA.

Fixed Check Fuel Cap warning and P0497 finally
My 2011 Honda Pilot had "Check Fuel Cap" warning. Then after a week or 2, check engine light would came on and the check fuel cap warning would disappear. Then after couple of days, the check engine light would disappear, but the check fuel cap warning came back. I changed the fuel cap twice, once with a cheaper compatible and once with genuine Honda gas cap, and the problem continued and reoccured like never ended. I used my ODB code reader and retrieve a P0497 code. So I decided to take the car to a mechanics. He replaced the purge control solenoid valve for me ($300) and told me that the problem was fixed. The car ran fine without and warning for check engine light for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, the problem reappeared after that. Each time the check engine light came on, I took the car back to the same mechanics and he used his diag tool to check code, but he did not find anything wrong. I went back 3 times. What I found out the last time was that he used his diag tool to reset the engine code quickly and he did not spend time to recheck the solenoid. I suspected that the mechanics was trying to avoid to replace a potentially bad valve he put in before. Also, I took out the solenoid valve he replaced and I found that it's a Made-In-China part. Then I read some review that some people fixed the similar problem with a genuine honda part. So I decided to give it a shot and buy this one. It took some effort to replace it because the hose clamps were in an odd position. But let me tell you, it's worth every second I spent. WALA. the fuel cap warning and P0497 check engine code has not come back for 2 months after I replaced it.

Fixed my P0455 Error Code
The check engine light on our 2011 Honda Ridgeline RTL came on. My scanner showed me that I had an EVAP System Leak Detected (Large Leak- P0455). The suggested solution was to either replace the gas cap or the Vapor Canister Purge Valve Assembly. Being that I had already replaced my gas cap a few months ago, I ordered this item which fixed the problem. It took approximately 30 minutes to install with a 10 mm socket/ratchet, a phillips and a standard screw driver, and channel lock pliers. No more check engine light.

Genuine Honda/Denso. Fix for Check Gas Cap and P0497/P145C code. 2011 Honda Ridgeline.
There are multiple sellers for this purge valve listing. I bought mine from seller "Authentic Tokyo" and can confidently say the part I received is a genuine Honda part. It is stamped Denso Japan and identical in every way to the one I pulled off my vehicle. The problem with my 2011 Honda Ridgeline started with random "Check Gas Cap" message with an annoying “ding”. It came to a point where the message (and “ding”) would come on every few miles or whenever the vehicle is started. There was nothing wrong with the gas cap. Eventually the check-engine light came on with P0497 and P145C code (Low Purge flow issues). Majority of my research pointed to failing purge control solenoid valve and replacing it seem to have solved the problem. I've driven hundreds of miles and at least three full tank of gas and haven't had the gas cap or check engine light come on. If you have similar vehicle as mine and experiencing the same symptoms, the purge valve is most likely the issue and replacing it should solve the problem.

Stop buying knock off and no brand.
Buy genuine Honda part and save yourself the heartache of broken hope. After TWO knock off, cheap and failed purchases, not to mention hours of labor and DIY on other related issues ; I decided to try once more with a genuine Honda part. It worked and clear the Gas Cap/ Check Engine codes right away. It’s been 1500 miles since the swap and no warning light. This part also has Denso stamped on the body so rest assure it’s genuine. Don’t believe a part that cost 1/4 less can do the job if you value your sanity and your time.A repair shop quoted $950 to fix this common EVAP system issue. Go from least expensive and work your way up the ladder. First the gas cap, new one $15. Then this purge solenoid. Tried a couple of these that cost under $20 without success. Was thinking to go to the charcoal canister next but decided on this Honda genuine part because thew canister is under the car and it cost close to $200 used. Glad I did. Saved hundreds as they say....now that's happiness money CAN buy.
