We had the debate of buying this ora Festool and to be honest, we are so happy that we saved the money because after using both types, they are equivalent. This guy gets the job done!

I had two Festool cleaned vacuums in my old garage home shop and loved them. I had to sell them when we moved and needed a garage vacuum in our new house. I'm familiar with the quality of Fein power tools and did some research. I decided to spend a little less than the cost of a Festool cleaned and chose the Fein Turbo I. It is very well made and works as advertised. The one complaint I have with the hose storage. The Festool had a "hose garage" on the top of the vacuum which neatly stored the coiled hose. The Fein has no such feature (I've looked for an after-market or Fein hose storage accessory but there is none). So, you have to loop the hose around the stored attachments on top of the unit which is awkward and doesn't hold the hose in place (it's always falling off). Other than that annoyance, it's a good vacuum which you can plug a power tool into to the vac comes on with the tool etc. So, it's ok. But it's not a Festool.

The casters were not included. Now I can't move the vacuum around easily :/

This machine is far superior to the $150 shop vac I had been using and I regret not changing sooner. The suction and noise level decrease is significantly better. I love the auto-on feature when a tool is plugged into it.

Expected disappointment when I saw the small hose diameter, but this unit sucks! Really! Does a great job on my mitre saw, sander and hand planer. And it is almost as quiet as my Festool. Highly recommended

Works great. Only complaint is it's way louder than they advertised.

Purchased this for extensive home renovations, and boy am I glad I did. I was on the fence between this one and it's bigger brother. I got the little one because the other was out of stock. I don't regret it at all. The vacuum is very maneuverable when you need it to be in this form factor. about 90% of the time I use it with a dust separator, so the bin size is a non factor. All of my Fein products have been great, and this one is no exception.
