I bought this product for my grandson’s birthday as he is in the army cadets. Due to COVID-19 he has only been able to use it once with his school for his Duke of Edinburgh expedition. On the first day the seam stitching became loose and caused the fabric to tear for about 3”. I have contacted the supplier Direct Cadet Ltd about 2 to 3 weeks ago and they have not had the courtesy to reply to my email. On inspection of the damage it appears to me that the fabric is of poor quality and not fit for purpose. I will not use them again. Disappointed that they chose not to discuss or contact me.

Not worthy of a single star but had no choice! This Bergan fell apart on first use. The snow covers in the Side Pouch came unstitched and the main compartment has split in a couple of places. Very disappointed son, not least because he is stranded with faulty kit on an annual Cadet Camp in Germany. Possibly a faulty batch or item but I have sought a full refund and awaiting Cadet Directs response. Not at all happy and will take further if no, or negative response! Not happy

The zip split, looks heavy duty and a good value for money but would rather spend more money and get a military grade one instead
