MINISFORUMDEG1 Docking Station, PCIe x16 (PCIe4.0x4), Force Power On, ATX/SFX Power Supply Compatible, Black

I use this with my UM890 Pro. One thing I did get when I got this all connected up was a Bitlocker Key request. This is because the hardware had changed. No worries, grabbed this from my Microsoft account, input the key and that was that.Paired this with a fully modular PSU to reduce cable clutter and opted for a 4060ti. All works perfectly and this is a big improvement on the integrated graphics (which to be fair performed admirably).The dock has a bit of weight to it and seems well made. Comes with the OCULINK cable and powers on when I power on my Minisforum PC.Overall very happy with both of my Minisforum products now and will be excited to see what other new products they release in the future.

First of - when working, I should say this is an absolute stonker of a device, performs well and looks amazing when paired with a good looking modular psu (so you dont have loads of messy cables).Unfortunately, the one I received has a faulty power switch (so cant turn it off without using the switch on the power supply) and occasionally gives off a loud electrical screech (possibly a capacitor) so will have to return it. That said - do not let this put you off - I have just got unlucky and would still recommend getting one!

Well built dock. Tried with a number of different oculink m2 key adapters and none have worked so far. Have ordered a gzosmeta oculink adapter as people online said these work with the DEG1, that adapter needed to be ordered from china so might get it within the next 2 months

The media could not be loaded. Once you have your bios set to gen4 speed works perfectly. Unfortunately this has driven me to buy more things to make my setup more funky but regardless of my independent lighting fetishes this is a great design and I love it. Thoroughly recommended!

Works well with a MinisForum mini PC. Easy to install an AMD 24 GB card and I use it to run LM Studio for developing AI agents.

For a while now i have been meaning to get away from my full size desktop (r9 7950x +rtx 4090) computer and move to a mini form but my constant problem has been the gpu.. I do like a bit of gaming. I bought a couple of mini pc`s from this company but my gpu requirements are higher than the ryzen cpu..I have been using oculink for a while but mainly DIY .. now I got something that makes the whole thing look and run better !The unit is light and not very big, it can acomodate a sfx/atx psu (I use a corsair SF850L sfx due to having short wires and making the whole thing very neat ) and I put my rtx 4090 on it and it does loose about 20% performance but im very impressed !This thing is not like a thunderbolt egpu .. the bandwith is much higher due to using pcie. the price and performance compared to the best in class razer core x (thunderbolt) is night and day ! this thing £100 razer core x £400+ and the razer is on thunderbolt 3..I tried it with a few gpu`s and next to each is the percentage of the gpu that gets used (rtx 4090 80%,4070 95% and a 4060ti 100%) the bandwith of oculink is impressive.Overall a nice gadget at a very good price !
