That piece does come out of metal frame to easialy and can be lost if you not aware of it. The remote work great. My son took it to use with his ipad and Iphone as it controls shuttes. Description states that battery is not included in remote but it was which is nice. Monopd length is from 23cm to 104cm. selfie stick works with Samsung Galaxy S3 S4 Note 2 Note 3 iPhone 4/4s iPhone 5/5s/5c,. Description does not include the Iphone 6s but holder does hold the 6S. says it will hold phones widths between 55-85mm. The strap on handle is made for small hands. Overall a pretty good selfi stick wiith no wires or cable to hook to camera, with small seperate shutter control that works well.Product received at discount in exchange for fair, honest and unbiased review.
