No. The coffee is brewed with water as with a typical coffee maker. To make a latte you need to warm the milk separately and then add the espresso to it, or buy their aeroncino and then add the espresso to it. Just as you wouldn't make a pot of coffee in a coffee maker using Milk, you cannot use milk in the reservoir. If that is your goal, I suggest buying one of their more expensive Nespresso makers that will make the latte for you. Milk would most likely ruin the machine.

And you can also maintain the button pressed until you have the correct amount of coffee and the release it, and the machine will remember the water volume, allowing you to just press the start button once next time and will automatically stop at the right moment.
