AK-47 - Survival and Evolution of the World's Most Prolific Gun

As a US Marine Corps veteran I was briefed many times on the AK-47, AK-74 rifle. Often we were told it was a derivative of or copy of WWII German weapons. This book clears the air on this urban myth. The design was from a clean sheet of paper. Marco did a great deal of research to produce this definitive account on how this weapon was designed and manufactured. A great read.

This is not a book so much as it is a large format magazine. Image qualty is poor, as if the images were harvested from the internet and copulied/pasted to the book. Reads less as an informative history and development book on the AK platform so much as it does an advertisement for various AKs and AK related weapons. Don't waste your money on this item.

Good book to read goes in detail with every Russian firing arm. Found out I didn’t know everything.

Great book. Easy read but very informative. Full of great pictures.
