SmartyKat Replacement Wand for use with Petlinks Wild Thing, SmartyKat Twirly Top, Petlinks Dizzy Thing.

my kitties would have loved these, they did not fit the device I had for them. They are very colorful and do catch the attention of cats. When I opened one package to attach it to the cat toy, the cats would not leave me alone long enough to attach the wand to the toy. Unfortunately, they did not fit the toy but they are good items that will get the attention of your cat the moment they see them.

These are not the sturdiest of things, but they were so cheap. It gives me the option to switch things out, so she doesn't get bored with the toy. I had to glue the string and the attachments kept coming untied. Glue fixed that. The butterfly is the favorite and it sticks up a little, so it lifts the cover and catches their attention more. Great deal, tempted to buy back up.

My kitty loves these toys! However, she keeps pulling the dangly bits off, so they don't last too long. Also, some of the bits at the end where they connect to the SmartyKat toy don't fit very well; the last one kind of flew off when I turned it on. Oops.Despite my cat's destruction, she still loves to play with the bits even when they're off. Maybe I'll put some string or something on the wands, since she had yet to chew through those...

I really should have returned the product (item), because every one of the (3) feather-wands came apart. More specifically, the ornament is loosely tied on to the plastic wand., however with little to no effort the ornament (feather) falls off the wand. I chose to repair it myself, by using a extra hold bonding glue (such as Gorilla-Glue) and now my feather/ornament is firmly attached. I should have contacted Amazon Customer Support to report the issue and consider asking for a refund, but I did not, since I am now able to use the product.As far as the toy is concerned, my cats liked the spinning ball for a few days and now have very little to do with it. I think it spins and jerks too fast and needs to be programmed to have longer pulses and non-running time, so that it will tease the cats and not beat them or whip them. :-(

Great idea for when your cats destroy the wand it comes with, but these replacement wands in no way fit on the toy. They will not screw on all the way, and the only one that doesn't fall of is the butterfly, but it doesn't screw on all the way, so it won't hide in and out of the cover, only stays out. Very poor quality for a replacement. Manufacturer, please make the holes big enough to screw onto the toy!

It's 100% ridiculous that Petlinks doesn't sell replacement wands for their Mystery Motion toy, but I read somewhere that these screw-on wands work with them. I took a chance on them and sure enough, they do work.The match isn't perfect (these wands only screw about halfway down on the threaded part of the Petlinks toy), but they're secure enough that my cat is having a grand old time chasing the one with the orange fluff on it. The length of the wand is about right, too.I see some comments about durability, but if you leave it down for your cat to play with while it's turned off, of course your cat will destroy it. I learned my lesson with the original wand on the Petlinks toy -- it was holding up fine until I left it down for the cat to play with, and he carefully plucked every single feather off of it. (That's why I needed a new wand!)Anyway, buying this is both cheaper and less wasteful than buying an entire new toy every time he destroys a wand...

I have the Smarty Cat Feather Whirl toy, so I figured that replacement wands for that toy would surely fit on it. Silly me! While you can press these wands onto the top, they do not snug all the way down on the attachment point unlike the original wand that came with the toy. Perhaps they adjusted the attachment part so it would fit multiple toys, but it should at least fit well on the toy it is advertised as being a replacement for!While my kitten didn't yank the wand off the toy, I fear my bigger cats will. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get to that point of testing because all three toys came right off the wand within a minute or two of being played with. The original feather is firmly attached to that wand, but these appear to be just tied on as I could see no other attachment method. I tried retying them, but they just slip down the wand as the toy moves/vibrates. I will likely try some strong tape but for the price they ought to be far better than what they are. I wish they just sold the original feathers on the same type of wand as that's what my cats love anyway (though they like the orange feathery ball in this replacement pack, given how hard I had to work to get it back from them after it flung itself off the wand!).My advice is to just make your own replacement out of feathers and attach them to the original wand yourself. The original wand fits better anyway, and I'm positive I can come up with a far better method of attachment than whatever they did with these. Save your money.

These replacement wands do fit the Petlinks Mystery Motion cat toy! They screw on the end of the base the same way the original one does, which is great in case your cat destroys the wand the Petlinks toy comes with (my cat tore off all of the feathers, which is why I bought these lol).The only downside is the teaser is tied on the end of the wand with a simple knot. I came home today (after having them for about 6 weeks) and saw the teaser loose on the floor. Not the end of the world as it can be retied, but I would reinforce the knot with some gorilla glue to make it stays put.Other than that, my cat loves the replacement wands just as much, so it is a great value considering Petlinks doesn't sell their own replacement wands for a $30 toy.
