General Electric Lighting 16775 Crystal Halogen Globe Bulb 60W

This is a great bulb. At $17.89 it is rather pricey. However, this is the only decorative bulb like this I could fine that's 60W brightness. Everything else is 40W. The 40W bulb I had before wasn't bright enough (520 lumens) for the light over my kitchen table but this one (750 lumens) is. After trying my bulb I bought 2 more for spares.

I love the design of the glass. I inherited these in my bathroom and had a hard time at first finding a match when one went out...and of course, I can thank Amazon for having them. I love these and will continue to use them in lights, especially where people see the light bulb...like under garments...good looking lights need good looking light bulbs as well.

This is a cheap way to really class up fixtures that have exposed light bulbs. The bulbs themselves seem to have reasonably long lives, perhaps twice that of most off-the-shelf cheap bulbs. But mainly you're paying for aesthetics, and not an extremely long-lived bulb.

This bulb was recommended to me by an interior designer to use w/ a modern glass chandelier. It compliments the glass and created a wonderful effect. Highly recommend this light bulb.

Well, I was super thrilled to find these bulbs. They are very bright and cheerful -crisp light that only halogen bulbs can deliver. However. . . the first one ALREADY burned out and it has been less than 30 days of use- in a bathroom nonetheless where they aren't on for that long each day. Im bummed and there doesn't appear to be a way to tell the buyer that they must have sold me a really old/weak bulb. Hello???

This bulb is nice and bright (60W) and casts a nice pattern on the lamp shade. It is a hot burning bulb.

I purchased a set of 5 of these bulbs for my new bathroom, I have used the lights for about 4 months now so far 1 has burned out, the packaging says the bulb will last at least 1.5 years, which is not true thus far.I will say the bulb is bright, very decorative, gives great light output the lighting is crisp and very clear, and bot blue but a true bright white light. I would recommend this bulb highly at this point, I might have to change my opinion if more bulbs burn out, the bulbs are pricey about 5.00 each so if you are looking for longevity as well as looks, Id suggest buying a couple of extra bulbs. I unfortunately did not take back the burnt bulb to see if Lowes would replace it, I had a friend pick up 2 extras for me,but in the future I will return them to see just how the warranty will work.

the light bulb is beautiful. it is very bright and looks absolutely gorgeous... When it worked... the bulb lasted me about a week and a half, after which it stopped working. the other two bulbs I bulbs lasted me for a month and burnt out as well. Not getting these again and would not recommend getting these unless you need some pretty lighting for one night.
