iDesign Metal Kitchen Sink Protector Grid for Kitchen, Bathroom, Basement, Garage, The Gia Collection - 12.75" x 11", Polished Stainless Steel

After searching high and low for about two years at various stores, I finally found this stainless steel sink strainer; it's really the only one I think is worth bothering with. The kind of strainers that sit directly on the sink collect gunk underneath them and must be lifted up constantly to spray water underneath. This one stays clean, makes it easy to keep the sink clean and can be popped into the dishwasher regularly to keep it sanitary. The stainless steel does not rust or corrode over time. I've had mine about three years and it looks the same as day one. Even the little rubber pegs on the corners come out totally clean when put into the dishwasher and they are on tight; they never fall off; not once.

Good value, and made well ... size is perfect for my sink and will protect the bottom from scratches and marks.

I like the grates, but they rub on the sides on our stainless sink. The corners of the sink are rounded. I wish they were a hair smaller

Purchased to fit in my Ikea Domsjo double sink. Not perfect (have to lift to reach the drain) but after spending ages trying to find one that fit, this is good enough and cheap. It protects my sink from my dishes and my dishes from my sink. The attached photo isn't the best, but you can see that in order for the feet of the sink protector to lay flat you have to pull the protector well into the corner with the drain. This leaves a few inches on the opposite side and toward the front. I was disappointed by this when I first got these protectors, but in practice it hasn't been a problem. The rubber feet work great - they haven't left any marks on the sink. In the photo the edge of the sink protector almost looks braided - this is just the shadow of the dish dryer above. Also the dryer holds a cooling rack, not a sink protector! I am lazy or would take a better picture.The dish dryer on top of the sink is a Surpah dish dryer purchased on Amazon that I can also highly recommend for the Ikea Domsjo - it fits perfectly and works great both as a dish dryer and as a trivet on the counter.I believe some reviews mentioned rusting - I haven't noticed this but I also don't let water stand in the sink - I only fill the sink for washing and then drain it. Otherwise I take so special care of the protectors aside from an occasional wipe down, and I've run them through the dishwasher a few times. I've been using these since early February, or almost 4 months.

Great product. Easy to clean

This appears to be a well made piece. It's actually stainless steel from what I can determine, not a cheap plated metal. Fits my sink well. Size listed is accurate. I like that is a full grid with no cutout for the drain.Originally I thought that it arrived slightly warped, since it would not sit in the sink without rocking. But it turned out that my sink bottom curves quite a bit at the corners so the frame corners touch the sink slightly. Measure your sink carefully.

I absolutely love this new kitchen sink rack. Because it is metal it does not trap water and food under the rubber mats I had. I have had it for several months now and it has not rusted. I will definitely tell my friends about this product. JoAnn

I scratched my sink with a cast iron skillet and got this to protect my sink from future scratches or dings from dishes. It work perfectly. I’ve washed it in the dishwasher on the top rack, the rubber feet keep it in place. I highly recommend it.
