Lasko Oscillating Digital Ceramic Tower Heater for Home with Overheat Protection, Timer and Remote Control, 22.75 Inches, 1500W, White, 5165, Medium

This is my 3rd heater of this type and brand I only got it after my last one simply wore out after 10 yrs of use. This heater gets warmer than my previous one did but maybe that's because my old one was 10 yrs old and just worn out.. It came quick nothing to assemble came with a handy remote that I use only to prevent down the road any probles with the buttons on the unit getting wear issues. I have a two br apt and at 30 degrees f outside this little heater keeps my entire apt warm all night I discovered. My electric bill did increase using this heater by about $70,00 is the only down side but that was with using the heater 24=7 that month. It's relatively quiet doesn't disturb me sleeping other than a barely hearing it to know it's working. At 25 degree f weather it didn't heat my entire apt but did heat 2 rooms very well it hasn't gotten any colder than that here this yr so I can't comment on any colder ability to warm. I have had it now for 3 months with no problems. Cord length was good guessing 6ft. I like the white color it adds a look of newness and hasn't shown any dust or dirt yet but if it does would be simple to wipe off I'm guessing.I sit it on the floor no problems using the controls located on top they are easy to see and reach. It has high and low settings both put out amazing heat. I can set it to run continuously or to run an hour and shut off. Other than the increase in my electric bill I have no complaints and would buy again.Update 15 months later now I have had 0 issues heater still working like it did day 1. Because of the positive review which is rare for me no I did not get any type perks for this review and paid just like anyone else for my heater here. Stay warm!

This is a great heater. I had it in some big rooms (15x15, wood floor, was probably the biggest) and it was good at warming the whole room pretty quickly. It's also quiet, and it's lightweight and not too big, so it's easy to carry from room to room if I want to. I've had mine for almost 2 years now and it's still running like new. I love it.

Good quality works great. You won't be disappointed. Remote hangs on back when storing. This style unit puts out really good heat.

I like that it works on Eco mode. You can set the temperature and it will shut off when and if it reaches it on Eco. It does not allow you to use the temperature settings on low and high heat however. It just runs until you shut it off.Supposedly on Eco or Economy it switched between high and low and shut off when it reached the temperature set. Very happy with this heater right out of the package. I previously had another Lasko heater that I liked, the designer model, it was incognito, stylish looking and quiet. It lasted 4 years which I’m not sure is an average life span of a space heater but I wanted to stick with this brand and was going to get the same style but this one caught my eye. Being a bit taller it delivers heat into the middle of the room rather than nearer to the floor. It works quite quickly to heat up my room (not a closed room either...it’s a small living room open to a small kitchen, with a very drafty front door). Very easy to operate too..I start with high just to get the heat moving in and then switch it to low fairly soon. I’m really glad this heater is working out so well!

I could write a novel about how great this heater is but I will try to keep it brief. We have had this heater for almost a year now and for most of the time we left it in my son’s nursery over night because his room would always get so cold in comparison to the rest of the house. I was nervous at first to leave a heater running in my baby’s room but it has worked perfectly. It will turn on when it gets too cold and then shut off when it reaches just above the temperature we set (it turns on when 2 degrees under desired temperature and then off when it’s 2 degrees over so it’s not constantly turning on and off). So it was great for his little room, although I will say the beep when you press a button is a little loud and if he’s not in a deep enough sleep it has woken him up to change the temperature. Usually it’s not a problem though when you figure out what the right temperature to set it to and do it before they fall asleep.Now the real reason I’m writing this review...our furnace just recently died. That means that we have no heat and it has been getting into the 30s at night. Now is the time we desperately need this heater because without it we have absolutely no heat in our house. YOU GUYS! It worked so well our AC turned on! So we have been still leaving it in the nursery at night but during the day we bring it out to our living room to heat up the top floor. I turned it on in the morning and it got our whole floor up to temperature and so when it was afternoon and it got to about 60 outside it was warm enough in our house to turn on the AC. This heater has really saved us when it mattered most. We borrowed a few of our friends heaters as well to warm the downstairs of our house and one for our room at night and not one of them works as effectively as ours. All I’m saying is if you need a heater, you need this one.
