Cirque du Soleil - Baroque Odyssey

I thought this was a show of theirs but it's actually a documentary it's not bad because it shows the history of Cirque du Soleil

Not their best work, but that's only my opinion because other performances were just so over the top awesome. Well worth the watch.

Brilliant background to the pioneers, props, gifted and talanted artists, after viewing this documentary, for me personally the true meaning of the words 'Commitment' and 'Dedication' have a far deeper meaning.My only misfortune is I have never been able to witness a live performance.May they continue to fill minds with passion and wonder.Pete c

A real treat to watch some of the best performers in the world in the comfort of your own home. A must for any Cirque followers.

A Baroque Odyssey is an excellent history of Cirque du Soleil from its beginnings to 1994 - an odyssey, indeed. The production is well-done, and it reveals the imaginative ideas and brief biographical factoids of Guy La Liberte and the other original creators of Cirque. The video is about one hour long and leaves one wanting more because it is so facinating. If you are expecting to see a Cirque performance, this is not the DVD for you. I enjoyed it very much, as I enjoy everything about Cirque du Soleil.

We love the cirque du soleil , we have a few of the DVDs , they make great gifts that the whole family can enjoy together .
