Made in USA by Americans. Not like all the cheap Chinese stoves on here. This is a heavy duty Gasification Rocket Stove. What does that mean? When the stove is hot, Secondary air is introduced into the flame to have complete combustion. This is the most efficient stove on the planet and allows you cook, boil and provide light, with the lantern attachment. Stove and all accessories are 316 stainless steel, not like cheap stoves. This stove will last you a lifetime.

As it turns out, this little stove works just fine, not sure about the other review that had a lot of smoke from it.As you can see from the video I posted, you can burn plain old kindling or sticks if you want to, great if you are camping or stopping at a rest area on a road trip and like to cook on the road (and don't have to worry about carrying Coleman fuel). I'm able to get this stove burning hot after about 10 minutes. Kind of fun if you like messing with fire :) You can also use wood pellets if you don't want to deal with picking up kindling. The hopper on the front is sloped so that as the wood burns, it will slide down into the stove, helping to keep the fire going. This is probably a normal design, it works well, the hopper is big enough that you can load a bunch of wood into it if you want, but I've found that you really don't need to fill it up, you can easily add more as you are cooking.I find that this stove burns clean, as you can see from the video, I was using dry kindling & branches and I don't get a bunch of smoke out of the chimney. You can heat up a frying pan & cook on this thing, as well as heat up a tea kettle for your morning coffee. Great little travel and camping stove.

Poor draft, no wood gas, disappointed and returned to SHTFandGo.
The draft is very poor (or non-existent) for a "rocket stove". Flames backed out to the feed area and flames were smokey after running for several minutes.. The "wood gasifier" feature also did not work at all, there was no evidence of hotter flame at the top of the chimney, plus lots of sooty smoke. I sent this feedback to SHTFandGo. They wanted me to keep the stove and claimed that it may have been defective. Sent it back for a refund, Amazon policy is full refund for defective products (otherwise it would have been a 50% restocking fee.)

My Favorite Stove.
The media could not be loaded. This is my favorite stove yet. It is compact, durable, and yet built to last. I like that it is built in the USA. I can use stick, twigs and even pellets. I like that I don't have buy fuel if I don't want to. I was able to get it lite easily. I just had had to make sure I started with dry stick and twigs. Once started I could add slightly damp wood. I was able to make my coffee and breakfast with a small amount of stick and twigs or use pellets if I could not find any stick or twigs. I would highly recommend this stove. I do recommend getting some fire starter like Strike-A-Fire because it definitely helped start the wood pellets and kindling really quickly especially when it got windy. Definitely worked better than my back pack stove in windy condition and I did not have to buy any propane or white gas. I was able to cool the stove down quickly with water. I am thinking of buying the stove mantel and griddle later on. I like the ability to add features to the stove like the pellet hopper in the future.

Nice Engineering/Construction- burns a little dirty
This is a nifty little stove, and the chute's adaptability to wood pellets or just plain old sticks is a nifty feature. I was a little annoyed that it seemed to not quite completely combust the wood-gas, which would result in heavy soot accumulation on the bottom of your pots (unless you soaped them up before hand). Other wood gas stoves, like the Biolite or EILA models burn cleaner, but they are not as sturdy as this little stove, which is pretty much "Bulletproof!"

Seemed like a good stove.... but....
What I got seemed good, it was just incomplete. Mine was missing the top section. I did unfold and assemble it all (what I got at least) and it seemed ok. Did not get to try it. I sent it back - sorry to say.Ended up getting a different "slot and tab" assembly stove on Amazon, which seemed a little heavier (which is good or bad depending on how you look at things). I really wanted to try the gassification stove, but.... just didn't work out.
