Great Value
More of an FYI nerd post than a real review. Wish they would post more technical specs but they don't so here you go..This fan says 90W on the sticker and when I hook it up to a DC power supply it draws 8.5 amps at 12.0v in free air. It starts spinning at 1 volt and at 2 volts it is actually moving some air.. At 5 volts it is drawing 2 amps and spinning quite nicely.. At 13.8 volts it draws 10 amps.. At low RPM you can hear the ball bearings rumbling a tiny bit, not an issue, but clearly is not cheap sleeve fan. Seems pretty high quality with minimal vibration..The curved blades are tied together by an moulded outter ring. The spinning blade measures 13 and 3/8 inches.. The inside dimmension of the enclosure ring measures 13 and 5/8 if you were to cut a hole in a box and mount it to something other than a direct car radiator, that is the size of the hole.. So it is just under 14 inches..It is configured from the factory as a puller fan in that the flat surface you mount it to, it will try to pull air from that surface and blow it past it's blade guard grate.Seems pretty quiet for how fast it spins, and it moves a lot of air.Pretty happy with this fan for my application (not automotive).

Doesn't seem to move much air...
I bought this fan for something other than its intended purpose, so perhaps i shouldn't be giving a 3 star review. My intention was to mount this inside my fish house for air circulation in conjunction with a PWM to control the speed. The fan worked great... in terms that it goes in a circle. However, it really doesn't move much air at any speed. The curved blades are designed to push air outwards towards the sides rather than straight through the fan. Also the electric motor seemed to get a lot warmer than what i would expect it to. After spending a lot of time mounting it in various positions, and switching the blade direction, it still didn't make enough wind to bother with. I'm really not sure how this would keep a radiator cool to be honest...

Great fan. I got it for a 5.0L Motor. Probably better suited for a 1.5-3.0 import with a thermo-switch.
Cooled down a 5.0 liter engine on hot summer days! This was a great purchase. I ended up getting a smaller one to assist on a backpull to this one but the thermostat never went higher than normal, or the air never blow hotter than fire, great fan, I just hooked it up to a switch and turned it on after it warmed up, Could have just wired it to the ignition I suppose... This was years ago though, just going back to all my old products and reviewing. New car since then.

Cool air
Installed two of these on a 1998 Chevy LuminaThey both turn on when the radiator fans turn onThis makes the A/C start cooling in less than 10 secondsThe engine temp is rock steady in traffic and the A/C is cold! The price was right for fansOne Note: I never use those install kits, always use steel bracketing and never go through the radiator

They fit in the radiator almost perfect. Its very nice having the biggest fans I ...
Low budget fan, that performs well.I used two of these to replace my clutch fan and stock electric fan on my jeep Cherokee. They fit in the radiator almost perfect. Its very nice having the biggest fans I could physically fit on the radiator.I wired these in junction with a flex a lite variable speed adjustable fan controller and Ive got them dialed in.They are quiet, move tons of air, and they kick on only for a minute until they've cooled the radiatorWe'll see how they hold up. The motors get VERY hot.

It works
I bought the product for my 280zx to replace the worn out belt driven fan..no problem fitting it to the car. It only has 5 inches or so of wires included per side, so don't forget to buy wire. I think i had to use my own tie wraps too, so be prepared. Works just fine, as far as i can tell. I joke about it sounding like a jet engine (an exaggeration), but, it's easy to tell when the fan is running :p.

Excellent product, delivers as promised
I installed this fan on my 1967 Mustang. It comes with everything you need to install it. It only took about an hour to install the fan in front of the radiator and run the wiring. I wired it to a flip switch inside the car. Fan runs fairly quiet and blows quite a bit of air in addition to the engine fan.I would highly recommend this product if you want to add some additional cooling to a big block engine.

should have done my home work
The curved blade is to minimize the noise and with the fan being in the engine bay noise is not an issue, With the curve you get less air movement ,the fan works well and there are no misconceptions in the ad
