SKLZ Vari-Break - Adjustable-Break Putting Green

3/30/17 Update: I am pleased that SKLZ sent a replacement mat, but it's a foot shorter than the original and has a different feel. One foot doesn't sound like much, but it makes a big difference. I prefer the bi-directional feel (stimp) of original mat, but the new one is ok too, just wish it was the same length as the original. The backing material on the new mat is different, which seems to help it settle out quicker/better. Bottom line, I will probably use the original more often. I created a stand out of PVC pipe to hang the mats over, so they won't need much time to settle out. Sorry SKLZ, but I'm still leaving the rating at 2 (maybe 3).Tough CustomerOk, update on 3/6/17. SKLZ is sending a warranty replacement. Apparenlty, there was a problem with older packaging causing this issue. I will update again in about one week with performance of the new practice green.I'm not happy about the reply I received from SKLZ customer service regarding an issue I am having with this product. The products does not lay flat on the floor, so it is difficult to see if my putts are straight. I have let it rest for 2 days indoors and there is very little improvement. The instructions say it needs 2 hours to settle out. I contacted SKLZ customer service and they suggested I lay heavy objects on it, put it out in the sun or use a heat gun to help take the bumps out. I am not happy at having to apply so much effort to make it work. My expectation is that it works right, right out of the box. Next time, I will not buy through Amazon, where returning the product is more difficult than returning it to a local store. Guess I'm stuck with it.

I've spent more time trying to get the wrinkles out than I have actually putting. I'll usually go to putt and after 5 minutes I get frustrated and then spend 20 minutes trying to get it to lay flat. I think once it gets warmer out I will try laying it out in the sun and stretching it. But for the price I paid I expected much higher quality. Very tempted to send it back but I still have hopes that it'll lay flat eventually.

Nice putting green. Has an adjustable ramp. Was slightly wrinkled upon opening and paid for extra shipping. Wrinkles flatten out once you walk upon it.

Okay quality. My husband was a little underwhelmed with this since the green was just felt, but maybe for the price this is what’s expected.

Needs more foam inserts to create a bigger or double break. You can avoid the break all together by starting from the far side of the mat, which limits the variety of angles you can practice.

I purchased this product after doing a lot of research. It came and it was as if someone folded the product instead of rolling it. This caused the mat to not lay flat which defeats the purpose of a putting mat. I returned the current mat but I bought another one to see if it's a fluke. Will let you know how the second mat is.

Will not flatten out. Love the concept, but just can't get it to flatten after 2 months :/

It's okay but the pad just can't seem to lay completely flat, maybe I need to use my steamer to relax the turf

Materials used in this product are not the same as those shown in the promo video; they are much cheaper and quite frankly, I do not recommend purchasing this product. This is clearly a case of false advertising! Undermat is white opposed to the black one in the video, and it has significant memory, so you will never be able to get rid of the folds caused by rolling the foam wedges inside the mat during packaging. Furthermore, the foam wedges are made of cheap black foam opposed to the nice sturdy grey one in their video. The product idea is fabulous, but clealy SKLZ does not understand the golfer market if it offers such an inconsistent practice product. My conclusions have all been admitted by customer service, yet they continue to sell it. Shame on SKLZ.

Works great. Simulates breaking putts or chips fairly well. Great for indoor practice of those tricky breaking putts. Breaks can be set from moderate to severe. Included is a Putt Pocket. The putt pocket alone is a great tool to train putting. There was a slight crease in the mat I received, fortunately it was near the edge of one corner and should not impact use or performance. A good investment for those who do not own a roll out putting mat. Approx 10.5-11 foot practice length.

Der Teppich ist von ganz mieser Qualität. Die Schaumstoffformteile waren so schlecht verpackt dass die schon kaputt waren als die Matte bei mir ankam. Einzig die Plasikformen des Loches waren von guter Verarbeitung. Mehr als 29 EUR wäre ich nicht bereit für dieses Set zu zahlen. Ich habe die Matte nach zwei Tagen wieder zurückgeschickt! völlig überzogener Preis!

Molto bello questo tappetino.Buona qualità dei materiali, mi sento di consigliarlo a chi abbia un minimo di spazio in casa.
