Marvel Classic Hasbro Legends Series 6" Collectible Action Figure Nightcrawler Toy (X-Men/X-Force Collection) – with Wendigo Build-A-Figure Part, Brown/A

After long last, we finally get a proper Marvel Legends action figure of the iconic X-Man, Nightcrawler! Nightcrawler made his debut with the team in 1975's Giant Size X-Men #1 where he joined newcomers Storm, Colossus, Thunderbird, and Wolverine. He's had a few action figures since then, but this toy was a sorely needed addition to the ranks as the Alan Cummings movie version was starting to look a bit out of place in our collections. How does he measure up?Nightcrawler is a bit on the small side. He is just under six inches and is quite thin and wiry as befitting his acrobatic nature. He's made out of a durable, rubbery type of plastic but because he is so skinny, he might not stand up too well if a kid plays rough with him.He has a ball jointed head, ball jointed shoulders that swivel, double jointed elbows, and a peg joint for his hands. He has an ab-crunch, waist swivel, ball jointed hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, rocker ankles, and his tail swivels. All together, I count 24 points of articulation, meaning he is very poseable.Accessory wise, he comes with two different heads in addition to his normal, static expression. The one head is him smiling, with his mouth slightly open so you can see his pointed teeth. The other has a much angrier expression and black around his eyes, like he's about to really tear loose on a baddie. He comes with a spare right hand, a sword, and the left arm for the Build a Figure Wendigo.Paint and sculpt wise it is spot on. No slop or missed applications what-so-ever. His hair has blue highlights which mimics his appearance in the comics well and they perfectly captured his jovial devil may care attitude on the head that is smiling. Thanks to his odd feet, he stands really well and in balanced nicely.The one thing I will tell you about this figure is concerning his tail: it is not a bendy tail. Meaning - don't expect to put it into poses and have it stay there. It bends, don't misunderstand, but will always go back to it's normal molded pose. His tail does swivel at the base, so you'll have something to work with when it comes to posing.All in all, this figure is a no-brainer and should be bought immediately. It's a classic take on a classic X-Man who has been with the team quite a bit, and it's just a fun figure to have in your Marvel Legends collection. This figure can be had at retail - IF you can find him - for $19.99, but I strongly suggest you buy him now before his price soars like Beast and Rogue.

The Marvel Legends X-Men Night Crawler arrived in perfect mint condition on Friday, March 28. I was glad to get it because This Marvel Legends Night Crawler looks exactly like the one in the Marvel X-Men cartoon and comic books.He even has the exact same hair style and pointed ears like the one in the Marvel comic. His Costume looks very well copied. He makes great addition to any Marvel X-Men collection

Finally! A Nightcrawler figure! Hasbro buried any prior iteration of the character by delivering in departments of sculpt and accessories. There are plenty of heads, alternate hands, and even a sword included with the figure! This iteration of the character puts the Toybiz version to shame with its proper anatomy and superior sculpt work/ comic accuracy. As one of my favorite characters, I am not disappointed. If Mafex ever did this character I wonder how it may compare to what we're shown here.

Great Marvel Legends Hasbro figure version of Nightcrawler!!!! Love that he is thin and wiry as he ought to be and comes with 3 heads! (Though the angry head is really scary and not what I think of Kurt Wagner at all! :laughs:) But the laughing head makes up for it!!!! It's PERFECT!!!! Great poseability and well made!!! PERFECT!!!!

Excellent character likenes, although the post office tracked the package. The figure itself was fine, but no chance of MIP!

You can't miss not having nightcrawler to your collection, it's a must have

"BAMF" - Well there is no purple smoke effect - but with all those extra pieces it makes up for it. Still it would have been nice. With a stand he'll be able to more dynamic poses - it's just that the build a figure is mostly re-used.
