Excellent Bidet!
My wife loves this thing. Our first one lasted years but quit working so I looked on Amazon and couldn’t believe they still make the same model! Would by again and again.

Bought this seat again ten years later to replace the original model
This seat was originally purchased from Costco back in 2012. It's lasted a full decade and finally after years of working fine it was time to replace it. The heated seat option is by far the favorite feature, especially on those cold winter nights.A few things to note. The seat and cover both close slowly so don't force them down or you will break the plastic hinges. I've learned this from visitors who have used the bathroom and honestly just didn't know that it's self-closing. The other small issue was that one of the rubber cushions on the bottom of the seat wiggled loose and found its way into the toilet bowl. After comparing many different models of smart toilet seats to replace the original, I decided to purchase this model again when Amazon gave me an instant discount to bring the purchase price down to $229. Note that ten years ago when I purchased the seat from Costco, it was $219. For the price, this seat is well worth it.

Very Cool Bidet Seat
I installed this last month and has worked great. This was a birthday gift for my lovely bride, she had wanted one since seeing a TOTO version in Japan about 10 years ago. The unit looks well made and comes well packaged. There are a few things you should know. FIRST, this seat is designed for an elongated toilet bowl. The round bowl style would probably not work. Since we had the round style, I did replace the toilet with a modern low flow toilet. (needed to do that anyway, old toilet was a 5 gallon/flush unit from days of old). I also used this opportunity to replace the water shut off to the toilet, the old shut off started leaking as soon as I tried to turn it off. SECOND, you need a 115 volt, 15 amp electrical supply (very) near the toilet. This can be a big deal. I got lucky and was able to easily install a new outlet right behind the toilet. I gave it a new dedicated 15 amp circuit.(This step is way easier to do this once the old toilet was removed and out of the way)With the new water shut off, toilet and outlet installed, placing the new seat and hooking it up were almost trivial. Connect the water supply to existing lines, bolt the seat down, plug it in. That's it! My wife is very please with the function. In short, if you have a modern elongated bowl toilet, with a working shut off and a nearby outlet, you can install this thing in 15 minutes, easy. And you will be happy with the new seat, the features are great and the remote is easy to use. The biggest deal to contend with is the site prep PRIOR to installation, this may be beyond most homeowner's capabilities. In that case you will need both an electrician and a plumber and the bill can rack up pretty fast.

Extremely disappointed - poor customer service
After a bad fall, I've been confined to a wheelchair and I was unable to get onto the toilet for over a year. Then I got an overhead lift that made it possible--what a thrill. The only problem was I couldn't wipe. So I looked into bidets. An Occupational Therapist suggested the Intelliseat. It has all the features I most want--warm water, drying, nozzels for male, female, back, and front.I was thrilled when mine arrived, but when I used it I was very disappointed to say the least. The nozzles don't squirt where I need them to. No matter what setting I use, no matter how I sit, they only squirt my lower back or the base of my spine. I've tried EVERYTHING, every position, and it just doesn't work. I've phoned the manufacturer's Customer Support number repeatedly for a month to ask if the nozzels can be modified to squirt lower and further forward and I can't talk to anyone. I've left message after message and nobody ever gets back to me.Finally I e-mailed a couple of weeks ago. After several days somebody called me back: They've been devastated by Tropical Storm Sandy and can't access their records and they'll get back to me next week. A few days later I got an e-mail saying I had to talk to Amazon about a return/exchange since I didn't purchase it directly from them. That Does Not solve my problem! Exchanging one bidet that has design problems for another of the same is no solution. Talking to Amazon (or the reseller) won't answer my questions about modified nozzels. At this point I am wanting to return the Intelliseat. Even a garden hose would clean me better.-----------------12/11/12 I want to amend my review and give Intelliseat 3 stars (deduct for customer service). After Intelliseat failed me, I got another brand with metal tubes for nozzels, figuring a machinist might be able to modify them. That brand didn't work, either. Further, I'd ordered the wrong model--no dryer--and it's not returnable. My urologist was going to pull my catheter inside a week, so I HAD TO find a solution--fast! I ordered a hand-held bidet, overnight shipping. My handyman friend reinstalled the Intelliseat (for the dryer) and the hand-held to work together. Yesterday the Urologist pulled the catheter. I discovered that without it I can wriggle back far enough on the Intelliseat and lean forward and it sprays my rear! The hand-held takes care of the front, and the Intelliseat dries me off. Good job!P.S. Using a toilet is a real luxury.
