This Sony RXVII screen protector is a life saver! When I purchased my camera I was worried about scratching up the screen, and since I've purchased the screen protector I don't worry at all. It comes in a pack of 3 which is great, I haven't had to replace mine yet. If you mess up the application, it is easy to re-apply to get out the air bubbles. I highly suggest this product to anyone with a digital camera. The glass fits perfectly, and it does not feel like a cheap phone screen protector. It is good quality and fits well.

I found that this screen protector is a nice thick glass and applies very nicely to my Sony RX100 VII. This screen protector was also a perfect fit on the Sony A7RIII. I initially purchased the “ProOPTIC Glass Screen Protector” from Adorama at the price of $19.95, and then the “Vello LCD Screen Protector Ultra II” from B & H at the price of $24.95 for my RX100VII to protect the screen. I was thinking that since I was paying more, I’d be receiving a quality product. Boy was I wrong! Not only did the screen protector for both not properly cover the screen and leave exposed areas, but the microfiber cloth meant to clean the screen kept leaving tiny parts that would remain underneath the screen protector when installed and cause bubbles. The more you used the microfiber cloth, the more of those tiny dust-like parts of the cloth came off and it was impossible to install the protector without those things remaining underneath the screen protector. Both were a huge headache and needlessly over complicated. This order from Amazon was a perfect fit, leaving no exposed areas, and a quick and easy installation that doesn’t even appear to have a screen protector. Additionally, it comes with 3 but my first attempt went simple and successful. I felt compelled to write this review given my negative experience with the other 2. I generally don’t write many reviews.

First impression isn't the greatest, but ok in the end. It arrives well protected in a plastic container, but it is held closed by a simple piece of Scotch-like tape. There are 3 screen protectors included, plus 3 pairs of cleaning wipes. The pair of "wet" and "dry" cleaning wipes included are identical and neither is "wet" so you are really on your own to make sure your cameral screen is clean. No instructions are included, but it is pretty obvious what to do. The first screen protector I put on still had apparent bubbles under it, so I peeled it off and tried a second one. That one went on very smoothly and you could watch as the air bubbles dissipated out the edge...worked fine. There are some very small blemishes on the top of the protector, but you only see them when the camera is turned off so not a problem. The touch function works fine. The fit is good although you have to be careful when placing it...it doesn't slide when put in place. It seems to provide good protection and is firmly attached (but as I found with the first one I tried, you can peel it off easily when pulled up, so that is good.) It does not appear to impact the colors or sharpness of the photos seen on the screen. Not a perfect process, but I'm happy with it so far.

I just installed this so I cannot comment on anything else. The installation instructions are minimal so I googled it and found a few good videos. There are two paper stickers that you attach to the sides of the protective screen that aid in placement so you don’t need to actually touch the screen. The right edge of the rx100’s screen frame is very slightly raised so you must position the screen protector flush with that. It looks really good with zero bubbles or dust particles. Time will tell if it stays in place but at least it comes with everything needed to do it two more times.

This screen protector fit perfectly. Followed the simple instructions. The installation went as well as I hoped; better than expected. Didn't skip any steps and all went smoothly with absolutely no bubbles. Exposed edges are nicely rounded so no sharp edges when on the camera. Well pleased with this product.
