Great value and they work!
These are such great value and the temperature measurement is accurate. I used these to help me balance my radiators. They are good quality and the battery life is good.

Good purchase. Work as they should
Bought for going camping to check the temperature inside and outside the tent. They’re perfect for the job. All give the same Reading when in the same place. Work as they should .

Very good for the price.
These thermometers do what they are required to do. There is a difference of 0.6 degrees between them at a room temperature of around 19 degrees so they are quite accurate, more than adequate for most purposes. I would have liked a longer sensor cable for the purpose I want to use them for but I can always extend it myself. The display is very clear. Battery life remains to be seen but I have previously used similar ones in which the battery lasted over a year. At the price they represent very good value for money.

I bought twelve and only 0.5C separates them at 20C room temperature. That's good enough for me.
I bought these to monitor my central heating system, specifically flow and return from my combi boiler and also to aid with balancing radiators.I was a little doubtful about accuracy/consistency, given the price, but with Amazon to stand behind them I though there was no risk if they were a bit pony. As it turns out I think they are really excellent value and plenty accurate enough over the expected temperature range of use. I've compared them at 20C and they are within 0.5C. At 70C the gap is up to 2C, so just +/- 1C. Happy days!Time will tell how long they last, but nothing to complain about right now (day one).Edit : I've been moving these round the house to measure different heating success within each room and now I've installed three (see photo) to monitor my condensing boiler flow and return temperatures. This data can be accessed through fiddly menus, with lots of button presses, but now I can see everything I need at a glance. Readings match the boiler figures within a fraction of a degree and mostly the difference is down to lag. Stellar performance, especially for the price.Maybe when the outdoor temperatures really drop and the system is working hard I will use them to fine tune radiator balance - that was another thought I had in mind when I bought them - although it seems pretty good already. Accuracy is certainly up to the task.

Ideal for AC re-gassing checks
Placing the probe into the vehicle dashboard air vent and then trailing the readout to the bonnet, helps check on AC gassing progress. The readout updates every few seconds so you can see any temp changes. Unit was so useful, I've stuck it to my own dashboard and vents so I can see how cold the AC air is all the time.

Ok but a big temperature spread
I needed probe thermometers to monitor the temperature of a fridge used for tortoise hibernation (yes really). As anything below 2C or above 7C is potentially harmful, and cold/warm spots can form in a fridge, a decent degree of accuracy is critical.I calibrated the 4 thermometers in a new fridge, by putting the probes in exactly the same location and monitoring the displays (to see the spread of readings). I was a little surprised to see a 2 degree variance between the highest and lowest. The middle two of four were within 0.5 of a degree of a previously calibrated thermometer so I am using these. They seem reliable and well made, but be careful if accuracy is critical.

Useful product
The units are obviously designed for push through panel mounting with sensor cable coming out at about 45 degrees from side/back edge. Battery access is also via back panel. The four units reported temperatures within 0.4C of each other at room temperature. Absolute accuracy was not tested but was not relevent for my application which was comparing pipe temperatures around 40-70C. Very good value for money

Cheap and good general purpose digital thermometers
Bought these for general household use. Lined them all up in the same location and I compared the readouts against a fairly accurate temperature device. They were all within 1 to 1.5 Degrees C, accuracy of each other which I thought was acceptable considering the price. They are not the prettiest to look at, as the wiring to the sensor bulb is quite long, it is easy enough to hide though. I have them in various locations around the house, and have found that all of the digital displays are still going strong after 7 months continual use. I would recommend these temperature monitors.
