Kaytee Lava Ledge for Attaching To Small Pet Animal Wire Habitats

Fantastic for rats! My rats love their lava ledges and use them frequently to get around their cage. They're durable and can withstand chewing & daily use. Definitely can't beat the price for these.

Rats love these stones. Great for filing down teeth, but I had less success with keeping nails short. Easy to install and move on the cage and pretty cheap to replace. I recommend wiping them with a paper towel or rinsing before use, as the powder or spray used for colouring them may come off on your hands and rats' fur.

Overall, my chinchillas really like these ledges. I've bought them several times. They really help keep their teeth ground down and healthy. However, because chins like to gnaw so much, these ledges don't last very long. They will have them ground down within a week to ten days. They are also super messy so be prepared to clean up the aftermath every day. They're at a great price point so I'll keep buying them since the boys like them so much. If you'll looking for something that won't break the bank that will help stimulate your chins and help with their teeth, I'd recommend the ledges. Just make sure the food dye doesn't mess with your chin's tummy.

My rats love it. This is the 2nd one I’ve ordered. Easy to set up and can hold my biggest boy who’s a little over a pound.

I’ve been purchasing the Kaytee Lava Ledge for my rats for a while now, and it’s always been a great addition to their cage. They love climbing on it, and it provides a nice natural surface for them to chew on. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it weren’t colored. I’d prefer a more natural look, but otherwise, it’s a durable and functional product that my rats enjoy. Would definitely recommend it to other pet owners!

I love these for the rat cages they fill up space and they are great for the rats to stand on because they file their nails down if they use them enough. I recommend putting under water bottles so they can stand there when drinking water. Also can put in areas where they need something extra to prop them up (in between levels etc)

perfect for a little extra lift on jumping around or checking something out. ended up being our chinchillas favorite spot to hang out
