It is a sturdy ladder
Just one issue. When I assembled the steps in direction instructions said had a corner sticking out where people would have caught and been hurt. Turned them opposite directed assembly and that issue was mostly resolved... wondered if the mounting bracket that is welded on could have been flipped creating the issue? Would suggest they make them interchangeable and relocate holes so they would work if it is really how it is to be assembled... minor engineering fix! The only reason I see would be the opening size gets smaller, but not any problem I see. Would have made it 5 Stars had this not been an issue. I did file some edges that were a little sharp, but not sure it really was necessary as the bury in the assembly anyway.

Just the security we need for the dock ladder
So simply using dock, screws or decking screws, didn’t keep the ladder in place this product work because of the metal base that you would use along with the anchor and securing the steps from the water. The length and sturdiness of the screws was just what we needed.
