Mini in name, giant in value.
The media could not be loaded. I am not a brand junkie. A drone doesn't have to say DJI to be good or a great value. It's very easy to get similar value at 1/3 the price. Until the Mini.I decided to pull the trigger after a couple of initial reviews on release week. I could not have made a better purchase. The mini is small and portable, has a quality build, and loads of tech and features that compare to much more expensive drones.Out of the box it is easy to fly with little to no difficulty for novice or 1st time flyers. After your initial charge of the Mini and transmitter you can be flying in less than fifteen minutes from downloading and installing the DJI Fly app to launch. Once in the air the Mini is incredibly stable and responsive, between downward sensors and GPS there was no drift at all in 15mph winds. The 3 axis gimbal worked great. In the included video when I stop in front of the statue I was actually doing small random pitch and roll and you get nothing but stable video. One of the best features is battery life. No you won't get a full 30 minutes unless you take off and simply hover in place, inside, in a perfectly warm environment. I was able to record 18 minutes of video and 22 minutes of flight time with 10% left on my battery in 36 degrees F and about 10 mph constant breeze.I have read a few negative reviews and almost all are about features the Mini doesn't have. Sorry but complaining about features something doesn't have or advertise, that you bought anyway, is like whining about a bad meal after you had already licked the plate clean.

Awesome little drone
Well everything came that was pictured. So minus the next day price drop below I cannot give less than a 5 for this product. The Mavic mini is awesome! So much quality packed into a small package. Fly’s great responsive and takes great pictures and video. No need in looking at a drone without the 3 axis fumble either. My only gripe is the price dropping 29$ the day it got delivered

Fun little drone that takes great videos. Buy a QC3 compatible usb charger though!
If you buy the basic drone package (ie. not the 'fly more' variety) you don't get a usb charging brick...just the cable. Sort of ridiculous for a high-end drone. Others have reported problems charging batteries with a regular iphone or cellphone charger. I had no problems with a regular phone charger but you should get faster charging with a quick charge compatible charger. You can get one with several ports for 10-11 bucks on Amazon. Its worth it so you can charge both the radio and the drone at the same time. In hindsight, I would have gone with the fly more package to get the extra batteries and a charger.I used to fly FPV race/freestyle for a long time but haven't flown in at least two years. I was able to pick this drone up and start cruising around in no time. I'd suggest getting up to speed using a simulator if you've never flown a drone. The controls aren't difficult since this will just hover if you let go of the sticks but still, you don't want to lose or crash your expensive new toy on day one.I'm not very skilled at video photography but the cinematic mode makes it easier by reducing the rates of all the controls (except the gimbal angle as far as i can tell). I'm having a lot of fun with it so far and it is nice that you can fly it without having to register since it is under 0.55lbs. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase despite the initial disappointment about not getting a charger. The adorama bundle with an sd card, landing pad, and carrying bag is a decent deal. The shipping was very fast and everything was packed nicely.

This one was bought for a friend
I have been a professional SUAS commercial Drone pilot for the past couple of years and I cannot be more impressed with the capability of this drone. It is truly a first level commercial drone at an almost giveaway price when compared to what I have spent in comparable features. It all comes with another bonus in that they brought it in at 249 grams which falls under the threshold of 250 grams that the FAA requires you to register. Great camera,2.7 K...great software, great build, and super performance. You won't be disappointed!

Amazingly Great
DJI has made a great flying little quadcopter!Stable even in mild wind, the different settings and modes make it fun to fly.But it is the camera that amazed me. Crisp photos and with the 3 axis stabilization gimbal video is rock steady. One word of advice when flying this and any other drone with GPS. Allow the GPS to orient itself. If you do not you can have a very embarrassing and expensive fly away. Live and learn!

Great drone for money and size.
Took a little bit to set up and charge. But user friendly, light weight, but great flying function. Camera is great. For how light weight it’s a great option.

See my review.
Be warned check comparability of software with your phone, I did not and it cost me 10% restocking fee + shipping.

Did not come with charding cable for controller
Did not come with charging cable for controller, only one cable came for the mavic mini drone, It is not usable out of the box. Also note that controller does not fit well on an LG stylo 5 phone, slots are to small and arms do not spread apart far enough even with hard to remove case is taken off.
