Best leaf blower for your money
So here is my honest review. After researching for a while and narrowing it down to three corded leaf blowers, I have come to the conclusion this one is the best. I purchased this one (WG521) and upon arrival immediately opened it to try it out. It has been raining for two days and was actually sprinkling a little when I tested it out (don't try that at home.) The second it turned on and started moving wet leave and pine needles I knew I picked the right one. This thing is a beast. It hates leaves as much as you and wants them gone. I opted for the corded leaf blower because I only need leaves gone on my driveway and near my house and porches. If you are like me, corded is definitely the way to go simply due to the cost and the undying power you get from the wall. To get this kind of power from a battery, you have to spend $$$. Gas powered blowers are great, too, but you have to feed them. So as long as portability isn't an issue, this is the way to go. I'm sure lesser blowers will work, but why spend the same amount of money for less MPH and CFM? So far, I am completely satisfied. If you purchase one of these I do recommend at least a medium duty extension cord because at 12amps this thing may need more than a light duty cord at 100'.Again, if portability isn't what you need, this machine is. You won't regret it. It "Worx" and it works good. (Pun intended)Back to the driveway. This thing handled piles of wet leaves and pine needles with ease. I can't wait to try it out on a big pile of dry leaves. I'm pretty sure a squirrel or small dog got caught in the gale this thing put out and I haven't seen it since. On a serious note, make sure your arms are sturdy. It's light but remember for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and your arms are holding that reaction. I found myself switching hands frequently because of the force this thing has. A good problem to have really. Still beats raking.I hope this helps. It was worth every penny. Knowing what I know now, I'd have spent more.

This thing is incredible!!!!
This is the 3rd blower we have bought in the past 5 years. We started off with the Toro 51609 electric, which was great and I posted an excellent review about it. But over time we got tired of dragging the cord around and decided to try the EGO 765 cordless since we already had the battery from our EGO string trimmer. The EGO is much more powerful than the TORO, but it's big and heavy and the battery life on turbo mode is shorter than we would've liked. It's fine for blowing out the garage, or the front or back patio's but insufficient for our yards. We have a large front and back yard with many Magnolia trees which are notorious for dropping piles of large, heavy leaves. Simply buying more (or larger) batteries didn't seem like the best solution since they are pretty expensive. After watching some reviews online we decided to try this Worx 800. It's fantastic. About the same weight as the old Toro and much lighter than the EGO. They claim it is as powerful as a gas blower, and I think they are right (FTR we don't own a gas blower). Subjectively speaking I would say it's twice as powerful as the old Toro. We can move the tree leaves from a distance (even in grass) instead of having to walk up close. My wife has to use both arms when it is on high because it actually will push her arm back.6 MONTH UPDATE: Still going strong but I wanted to post new information. I recently had a chance to use my neighbors gas backpack blower the Echo PB-9010t to clear my yard. I won't lie. That thing is a beast and is much more powerful than this Worx, but let's keep things in perspective. The Echo is a commercial level machine and cost $700.

It’ll blow you away!!
This thing is so powerful & with the endless power.. it’s truly meant for those that tackle the terrible job of fall clean up every season here in New England!! You will not regret this buy.. the core can be a bother sometimes.. but if you map out the yard before you start.. your cord wont get tangled as much.

Really good blower
This blower packs a lot of power! Just as powerful as gas powered blowers. I have been using this for a couple weeks and I have not encountered a single problem with it. The power delivery is superb for the price!!

Most CFM electrical blower on the market but also a bit heavier than most of less output.
This was a replacement for a prior Toro "220 mph" blower the rheostat (speed control) of which failed. Although the motor was fine, there was no economically feasible way to replace the rheostat given that a new current model type blower would be in the $50 range. Then, searching for a blower, preferably cordless, that would rapidly blow huge leaf falls as well as the occasionsl drying out ponding on a flat roof, I learnt that total air mass moved was a better guage of "moving power" than air speed i.e. CFM was more important than MPH. That was due to physics 101; if you narrow a fluid flow, it speeds up but the mass moved is slowed per minute. So, a 250 mph blower may be not very effective if the air stream is very narrow. This baby moves 800 CFM at highest speed to the point that there is push back. It is a few pound heavier than the run of the mill less capable blowers and the whining din is greater - but far better than the noise and pollution and ickiness of gas blowers. As for longevity, I don't know how long the rheostat-speed control will last. Perhaps, I'll just keep it at maximum and use an on-off manual switch to use.
