Great Past Time
I found this little gem during Amazon Prime days and couldn't resist. The directions are printed a bit small for these old eyes but with a little searching, I found a set online that I was able to download and even a video on YouTube showing assembly. I wouldn't recommend this for a young child because assembly was fiddly and I ruined a few pieces buy I was able to work around that by making my own exhaust hood over the range and getting the little laser cut stools from another vendor. This is roughly 1/24 a scale in case you want to personalize yours. It came with some tools but I also recommend Beacon 3 in 1 glue, a good exacto knife, ruler and cutting mat and a Xyron sticker maker...all stuff you can find here on Amazon. Other than that all you need is a steady hand and some patience.

Good miniature
Good minature. I've done nearly 100 minature kits and this one was pretty good. Rolife minatures are generally the best in terms of instructions, but this is a good second. Part of that is because the size is so small there isn't a ton of supplies to mix up. I finished it in a day, so it's not time consuming. No issues with fit or supplies missing. I did have to re-do the light because the template is a little too small, but not a big deal. I also did the pillows a different way (pre-folded and glued the edges) because it was too messy to do it the instructed way with the glue. All in all a good day project for those with experience and a good long weekend project for those that aren't.

Customization adds fun to the project
The media could not be loaded. This project is very tedious and requires manual Dexterity. I did modify the design of the stools and of the toaster out of frustration. I customized the piece to bring it to life. If you like to add your own creative touch to things this is a good outlet.

These sets are so cute and look amazing when finished.

Disappointed
I purchased this kit because I saw the cute pink fridge. Well let me tell you that’s the only thing cute about this kit. This was by far the worst one I’ve ever done. The directions are awful, missing and wrong sized parts, nearly impossible steps glueing cheap paper to warped cheap wood. I made the best of it using leftovers from other kits mostly so I could do an honest review. I’d say if your new to miniature builds avoid it for sure and even if you’ve done several like I have I’d probably skip it for your mental health haha. I’ve included pictures of what I did to make it come together.

Battery pack for lights does not work
The media could not be loaded. I enjoyed putting this together. It was a bit challenging working with the fabrics and paper but I do like a good challenge. The tools provide are efficient, but you’d be better off using a good pair of scissors and a pointy X-Acto blade. I used my dog nail trimmers for the toothpick and wires. The battery pack they provide for the lights requires two AAA batteries however it doesn’t actually work. I have a three button battery switch from another set that I tried and it worked.I use tacky glue to put it all together. The bag had a problem with these teeny metal rings you had to cut in half. I lost both of them lol. The leather like material also doesn’t hold to tacky glue very well. The dust cover doesn’t exactly fit.The wood parts arrived a bit warped so I placed them under a few heavy books for a few days. That helped but they never were completely flat.

Good Instructions; Includes Tool Kit
This is the second mini room I've tackled and I was delighted to find a nice tool kit included, especially at such a great price. I customized the room to make it one I would want to live in myself and skipped a couple of the accessories that seemed more trouble than they were worth. (I do not know how they expect you to glue together a 2" grid of hair-sized wires without getting ginormous blobs of glue everywhere. I made a banner with letters spelling out my name instead.) I also added four miniature white kitties that I (badly) painted to look like my own cats. They are only 3/4" long, so it was difficult, but I managed to get them somewhat near to how they really look!TIPS:I recommend tacky glue for most assembly, as it's quite strong and dries clear so it's okay if you're a little sloppy. Glue dots (from the scrapbooking aisle) are wonderful for wee paper items that you don't want to have to hold in shape while the glue dries. They're basically tiny flat sticky "boogers" that adhere paper instantly and with a good bond. You can cut them smaller if necessary. I kept a bamboo barbecue skewer handy for spreading tacky glue on tiny surfaces. You can also use the skewer to score fold lines if you don't have a stylus. Your experience will be 90% less frustrating if you score all the fold lines. All in all, a fun project, especially if you customize. The little books are actual books I own; I scanned the covers and printed them out super tiny. The cat-themed mouse pad is a photocopy of my real mouse pad and the art on the walls and computer screensaver are pictures I found on Pinterest. While assembling, I accidentally dropped the tiny perfume bottle that goes on the shelf and couldn't find it anywhere, so instead I created a candle from a bead and a piece of wire. (I'd be more likely to have a candle than perfume anyway!)

Super fun hobby I've been enjoying myself doing this
I had a good time with these they were difficult at first but then I decided to customize some of them I bought too I'm probably going to buy as many of these as I can because they're a nice time for hobbies.
