It works. It gets hot and all. I just wished it was better. I mean, It is good for after-market but, these are the things I was dissatisfied with.1. Seems to bulky. I mean the cords and heater elements are inside or course, but it does make the steering wheel much bulkier. Not terribly bad though.2. The cover does not completely cover the steering wheel. There is a gap on the inside. It's not terribly bad, just something that could be improved.3. I'm not sure if this is made for turning. I am finding it difficult to keep the power cord attached when turning. There is a quick release, but I wish I had one from the factory.4. It's not terribly hard to get on, but it wasn't that easy.

Difficult to install and wire gets caught in steering wheel. Bad design
What I thought was a good idea at a reasonable price turned out to be difficult to install and almost impossible to leave plugged in while driving. When I initially installed the wrap on my steering wheel it turned out to be very difficult for me. Following the instructions starting at the top and trying to work it around the wheel it becomes very tight not even half way around the steering wheel. It took me and my wife all 4 of our hands tugging and pulling on the wrap trying to get it around the steering wheel. My steering wheel on my Mazda CX-5 is 141/2" in diameter the lower number on the recommended steering wheel size. When driving and your in close tight places like parking lots or parking garages even just turning around in your driveway, turning the steering wheel lock to lock gets the power wire wrapped around the steering wheel getting itself wedged in between the plastic protective panels and sleeves behind the steering wheel literally locking/preventing the steering wheel from turning and may cause you to loose control. The only solution I could come up with is to unplug the power cord from the wrap while turning in tight places.The steering wheel cover does heat up nicely and if used while driving mainly on interstate highways where the steering wheel doesn't need to be turned lock to lock may prove it to be useful, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It doesnt work for me.
You cant drive while it is plugged in, and it takes quite a while to heat. I found I am colder sitting in the car waiting for it to warm so I can unplug it than if I went without it. Sorry to be returning it. It didnt come in a box, so I have no idea how I am going to return it! :-(

Fits tight on an Explorer wheel.Does not heat evenly all the way around, but you can find a good spot to warm up.Unplug the power cord before you park or you will be fighting wires!

Well made, but does not work for me.
The cover is well made and of good materials. It warms up nicely. However, could not find a way to keep the cable from from separating itself when the wheel is turned more than a just a little. I will probably have to return it. (We have a Rav 4 and the cable slips into the split between the pieces of the steering wheel cowl and sticks there.)

Disappointed
I wanted this to work. My husband bought it for me for Christmas and I wanted it to work; however it didn't. We bought a new/used car that this summer that had every feature I wanted except a heated steering wheel. My wonderful husband bought this steering wheel cover for me for Christmas but it was a failure. First, it makes the steering wheel to big for me; it makes my hands feel tired and cramp. Second, I REALLY dislike the wire. It gets in the way. The final straw was when I had to make several very sharp turns in succession and the cord got wrapped around the steering wheel very tightly. It was so tight that I had to stop and unwrap it because I couldn't turn the steering wheel anymore. We will be send it back.

Such a relief!!!
My vehicle has all the bells & whistles but this one thing...a heated steering wheel.Even with my warmest gloves my fingertips would turn whitish & numb after only 10 minutes of driving in cold weather.I saw this & thought it was worth trying.IT IS WONDERFUL!!!It heats up quickly, the cover is soft & comforting but not too bulky.I don't wear my gloves while driving now & my fingers are happy and pink!It's inexpensive, too.Though I did have my strong grandson put it on because it was too hard for me, but it's secure & doesn't impede driving in any way.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
