I'm very happy with this set of flashlights. I was concerned about brightness, given the low price for a 4-pack, but the concerns are gone.Both the main beam and the sidelight are very bright. I focused the beam on some trees that are about 100 yards away, and the spot lit up those branches pretty brightly. And when I zoomed out to a wide coverage, it did a great job illuminating an archery target about 100 feet away. I may find I'll use the lower intensity beam for most things close-up. The only slight downside is the tightly focused spot is square-shaped, which is basically the shape of the LED array. It's not a problem, just something to get used to.The sidelight is crazy bright. I used my old, similar (and now lost) flashlight's sidelight as a lantern when working in tight, dark areas, such as plumbing under a sink. This flashlight is so much brighter than my old one. I probably would have been fine with a fourth mode, a dim sidelight. That could have been bright enough without using so much battery.The size is perfect for clipping inside my pocket. That clip makes it handy to bring out, since it's not bouncing around with any other stuff in there.These flashlights have one feature I wasn't aware of. My previous flashlight also had three modes, beam, strobing beam (which is useless), and sidelight. To turn it off you had to cycle through the rest of the modes. While not a big deal, it was kind of annoying. This new flashlight, though, will turn off from whatever mode it's in as long as that mode was on for something like 10 seconds.I haven't used these enough to report on battery life, but with three spares, I'm OK with swapping out when needed.

Bought one from a flea market for $5, loved it and lost it. Bought these for me + family.Very bright, versatile and tough. The battery wears down kind of quick and the flashlight gets warm due to not having a low beam function, but it does charge back up quickly. A little annoying to have to click through two more functions to turn it off- but, if it were designed different, it wouldn't be so inexpensive and handy. I love these bright little lights! They have 3 settings...super bright out the end, flashing out the end, and a wider beam off the side. I clip it to my jacket and have it shine out the side while I walk my dog. It lasts about 1 dog walk (an hour or so). Charges quickly, has a red light while charging that shuts off when it's fully charged. I wish the charge lasted longer (hence 4 stars), but at least it's rechargeable. I also wish it came with a cord to hang it...I had one lying around that I attached to the clip. Love the 4 pack...gave 2 away as stocking stuffers.

A great product at a great price. These small flashlights put out an amazing amount of light and provide an equally amazing number of options: the ability to focus the flashlight, a full lamp, and a blinking SOS feature. I have put one of these in each of our cars in case of emergencies, and keep the others in various rooms in our home in case of power outrages.

So far these are great. They are super bright and charge fast. They have 3 different modes. Bright, dimmer, and lantern. They also have a focus on them that allows you to focus the beam of light to be wider or more concentrated. I like that I don’t need any batteries. I put them all around the house. Time will tell how the battery in them holds up. These are a great deal.

I bought these because, in my hobby, I'm constantly dropping very small parts on the floor. Then I have to look for them in the dark recesses under the desk, between the cabinets, etc. These are perfect for that--much better than dragging a corded lamp around the floor. Why do I need FOUR? The first one is for looking under the desk. The second one is for when the first needs to be recharged. The third is for when I can't remember where I put the second one. The fourth? That's just in case I want to ascend Mount Everest at night.Defects: None of them will strobe. Instead they just give a dimmer light. (One of them actually did strobe for a few seconds when I pushed the button crookedly.) Also, the sequence of functions was sometimes erratic. That is, instead of going to the next function when the button was pushed, the device turned off.On the positive side, they're very bright and mine recharged in 20 minutes. I wouldn't buy them again, but I'm easy to please and I still like them.

I work at a Shipping Yard, and we have many units in places that are not well-lit. This flashlight is absolutely perfect, in that it's small and easy to carry, the beam on the TIGHT focus setting illuminates our tags on the units at 30' height and makes them EASY to see/read.The fact that they're rechargeable is important to me as well. It's so much easier for me to plug mine in nightly, than mess with batteries running out on me in the middle of a shift.The price is super-reasonable also, I've bought more of these for my coworkers as gifts (so also they quit asking me to borrow mine, lol!)100% satisfied with this product.

Decent battery life, really bright. Brought them to use while working.
