If you want a snug fit go with the medium. If you dont go with the large. Keep in mind they do stretch. Im about 3.5" across my knuckles and I buy Medium

Yes, I use I pods at work daily, I don't usually have to take my gloves off. I can type and scroll easily.

Q: Can you put these in the washer?

Yes you can put in the washer. But don't put them in the dryer.

Q: DO these gloves prevent refrigerant burn?

unlikely to prevent refrigerant burn, they are thick and will provide some protection depending on length of exposure. they are not insulated. ask manufacturers for more details.
