Not all seam rollers are created equal.
Warning, what follows is a brief review of a Rubber Seam Roller. This review may cause drowsiness or induce coma. Please avoid driving and operating heavy machinery if you make it to the end of this review. That’s how I would normally feel about a seam roller review but after buying and trying to use the foamy misshapen mess that is the “Stanley Dynagrip Soft Seam Roller 0 28 660” getting my hands on the Ewrap is a positively rapturous experience. My use case would be with wallpapers.First impressions, it’s round, weyhay! The Stanley was oblong. The Ewrap roller kind of reminds me of a skateboard wheel, designed to glide, stay on and last whereas the Stanley is more like a marshmallow... Alright, enough about Stanley. At a glance the Ewrap looks chunky, first thing I did was roll it across the worktop and it does in fact glide. Next thing I did was whack it about a bit, solid – this thing will last. Sorry Ewrap I’m only ever going to need one. Up till now I’ve only ever used hard seam rollers, mostly because that’s all the local mega store sells, so I thought it might be worth trying something softer, gentler on the delicate wallpapers. This sure ain’t as soft as the Stanley but it ain’t brick hard either, anyway, tried it on some nondescript wallpaper today and I like it. I’ve yet to try this on external corners(the groove part) but I suspect I’ll stick to fingers and thumbs for that – but who knows.Overall verdict, does the job with ease, something you can throw about and mishandle without a care and be confident it will work next time.Closing accolade, I would buy again if I loose this one or if somebody with a Stanley pilfers it.PS.So taken by the roller I forgot to talk about the handle, it’s wooden, a decent length and super comfy. Takes you back to a bygone age when they knew how to make stuff. But… In the interests of balance, the metal collar at handle top has the look of something that might corrode over time. I’ll keep my eye on that and report back in ten years if that proves to be the case.

Seam roller
This item still steam roller for wallpapering is one of the best items I’ve used to to roll on the edges of wallpaper 30 years as a painter and decorator this item cleans well and maintains itself because of the silicon finish, which is better than the old wooden ones highly recommend it

Don't use for aluminium car sound proofing
Did the job average when applying car sound proofing. Applying pressure caused the wheel and handle to bend closer together, this is turn would allow the metal wheel to cut through the Aluminium sound proofing.Average product used badly by me.
