Blank Cards and Envelopes - Ivory - 5 x 7 - 50 pcs - Value Pack

It took a number of returns to Amazon website before this product was available for sale. I had previously purchased the white version of the blank cards, which were consistently available.I found the weight of the card itself to be excellent for my purpose, which is to make photo cards. The envelopes were of lesser weight, but I do not think that the lesser weight will be a problem in the long run. I have purchased blank Ivory cards from at least two other vendors, and the color of "Ivory" has been fairly different overall, with the Darice product being more yellow, but not unattractively so.The only complaint I have is that the plastic wrapping for the envelops was very tight and resulted in many of the envelopes being turned up at one of the narrow sides. I have tried to use weights to straighten them out, and whether that works is yet to be seen.I do have one real irritation with either Amazon or the dealer. The price for the Ivory cards was approximately $2.00 more than for the white, and after I purchased three packs of Ivory cards, within a day or so, the price went up another dollar. I know this is business, but it was disheartening to see business principles applied so quickly.

I have been ordering these now several times. I do like the quality of the product but my last 2 times I received the order they had a bend in one of the corners of the card. So please take note for shipping or packaging. Thank you!

There are a couple of things you'll want to keep in mind before ordering. These cards are perfectly serviceable but they're by no means perfect. First, as many other reviewers have said the color isn't ivory, it's yellowish which is fine for me since I'm covering them but it may be an issue if you're trying to match colors for invitations or something similar. Second, be warned that while the cardstock is a decent weight that the envelopes are flimsy to the point of being see-through so if you want to keep your card a surprise you'll have to insert a sheet of paper. Finally, I may have gotten a defective batch but my cards don't fold evenly. The cards all come pre-creased so that's the line I'm using but thus far every one of them has been wonky. This wasn't an issue for me because I'm not selling the end product or sending them out as invitations to an event, but it's something to keep in mind for those of you who may be doing those things or who may be perfectionists.

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love these cards! They are absolutely gorgeous and so smooth. I send out about 50 cards and notes each month, most of which I make myself. i ordered these because the price was reasonable, less than I would have paid locally for the same product. When they arrived, I was pleased to see that they were nice and sturdy and very thick paper. That is especially nice so when I color on them with Sharpies, it won't bleed through to the other side. I was a little disappointed that most of the envelopes were hard to seal like they didn't have quite enough adhesive on them or something but, a sticker quickly fixed the sealing issue. Overall, the product is great, I would definitely order these again.

The envelopes are thinner than the cards but neither are cheap quality as some have stated. The paper has a soft finish and the package suggests using them for crafts and provides a site with useful ideas. I plan to use them for greeting cards but they could be used as note cards as is. Why some call this color "buttercup" and pastel yellow I don't know. It is a true ivory which is a creamy off-white shade. The price is excellent. Try them you won't be unhappy if you want nice ivory note cards. However, it printing photos you are better off using white in most cases.

I was a little hesitant to order these cards because I thought for the price, they would be on the flimsy side but to my surprise, I was very happy with them! I make a lot of cards and I like the card stock I use to be substantial in weight. Checking both Michael's and Hobby Lobby, this price on Amazon is unbeatable. I read one of the reviews that said they are about the weight of a Hallmark card and I fully agree. Great bargain here! I will be ordering more in the future.

The color and quality does NOT match the description. It is a soft yellow. The paper is thin and flimsy (much lower quality than a 99 cent card from the store), and you fold the cards yourself. If you look at this in terms of how cheap $ the product is per card and envelope, this is a deal for the budget-minded. It does show, as these are not qualify cards. If you do not expect a lot, these will do the trick. Honestly, I was a little disappointed and would give them one star if not for the price. The product is misleading and really claims to be more than it is. I read others' positive reviews, which had swayed me to buy the product. Sometimes Amazon reviews fail. Three stars only because of the per unit cheapness.

I was not sure id the cards were single sheet of big enough to fold. I was pleased they are bigger enough to fold. Nice quality. The only issue seems to be the need for vigilance when folding them (they come flat and are scored, but not too well.
