Clauss Titanium Bonded Kitchen Shears, Red and Black, 8"

These are precisely made. sharp, rugged kitchen and all-purpose shears. You will be impressed with the Clauss quality. These are available in many colors - we purchased red ones. We originally purchased a set from a big box store years ago and they eventually disappeared with the passing of time and we missed them greatly. We finally discovered these replacements on Amazon and bought a bunch to ensure we'd have use of these for many, many years to come. They easily disassemble for cleaning if necessary, the pivot point/hinges are well made and tight. If you buy and use these shears, you will not be disappointed.

Great scissors for the kitchen and the outdoors. The blades are thick enough for moderate tasks without flexing and the handles give great leverage when cutting the thicker stuff. They make quick work of cleaning and gutting smaller fish, cutting through fins and small bones with ease. I even use them to cut greens for salads and garnishing. Take-apart ability makes for easy cleaning and drying.

Bought these to replace a similar pair I'd had for several years that worked great. Unfortunately the previous pair began rusting after several washes in the area where blades join that couldn't be hand dried properly. I specifically purchased these because the blades come apart for cleaning which would make washing and drying completely much more effective and using for cutting poultry, etc. much more hygienic.The problem is, once separated the blades (at least on set I received) don't "lock" back together, rather each has a small rectangular locking mechanism, one male, one female that fit together. It's just not secure. I use these as all-purpose kitchen shears and one of the main uses is cutting through tape on cardboard packages. Opening the blades wide enough to do so, or opening the blades wide for cutting anything has caused them to fall apart unexpectedly several times, cutting my hand twice and causing one side to fall blade first on my foot.I'll be returning these and looking for a better-designed pair.

These are one of the best scissors if youre cutting meat for your raw fed dog. It even cuts thru chicken bone fine if you place it by the little bone breaker part of the scissor. Great love it

Well made, cut well, have an ergonomic handle shape that fits comfortably in my large hand in a way that allows accurate cutting, and very inexpensive. I don't have the blade unlock/separation problem a few others have mentioned even though I open these as wide as my very large hand can, so they must have fixed that problem.

The best shears I have ever owned. Great quality. Bought a pair a few years ago for 7.00, now 32.00? Huh Amazon getting very expensive, PLUS have to pay 120 a year? Seriously? Guess I won't be buying another pair.

I was looking for a very highly rated kitchen shears but when I read the reviews the people who loved that kind no longer liked them since the new ones rusted.We've had no problem with these, seem to be very high quality.

Best scissors you will ever buy. I received a demo pair of these 4 years ago and have used them in the kitchen for everything.
