Juno Plush Doll

She is always asking for Juno and admires rubs able. I am so sad it's no longer on the air. My daughter had a communication delay and Juno was the only thing that made her fall for weeks. Now, if I can only find Indie...

I have a 2-1/2-year-old granddaughter who has recently entered the "doll stage" and usually likes every doll and stuffed toy presented to her. However, she was just lukewarm about Juno. She didn't dislike her (and painstakingly corrected her dad when he misunderstood Juno's name), but Juno is not one of her top choices when she is assembling dolls and toys for a game or a tea party. The Juno doll is cute, sturdy, and well made, but my granddaughter remained indifferent even when watching a Juno video (despite her love of music, she was relatively indifferent to the video, too). If your child is already a fan of Juno and her friends and follows their adventures, I think the doll might be a welcome accompaniment. However, she was not a hit at our house.

There's lots to love about the Juno Baby Plush Doll. Her bulging big eyes, for example, her sprouting braids, her beanie, plush tush. Her fabric is very soft and very strong. Kids will have a hard time ripping her apart. Everything about the doll suggests high quality materials and well crafted design.There was some ambiguity about the size of the doll based on Amazon's description pictures. One shows Juno looking small, and the other shows her looking nearly life size. As it turns out, she IS 14 inches, but they must have been measuring from the tip of her braid to the bottom of her shoe, because she's a really small 14 inches. Not much bigger than one of her DVDs, in fact. For a more realistic photoshoot, see the customer image I posted.Overall, I think the doll is darling. Surprisingly, I enjoy watching Juno's preschool educational videos with my nieces and nephews, so seeing her in a doll form even got me a little excited. What's not to love about that pleasant smile, rosy cheeks, and big eyes? The only reasons keeping her from getting a perfect 5/5 star rating is the price.. nearly $20 is a bit extravagant in my opinion, even for a high quality doll like Juno, and the fact that she's smaller than I expected (hoped) for. Still, if your child is a Juno fan there's no question this plush will be a hit!

My 1yr old loves Juno Baby DVDs. For her first birthday I thought it would be nice to get her the Juno Plush Doll. She loves it. It's a little big for her but she'll tote it wherever she goes. The doll is so soft and very well made. A must for any Juno Loving child.

I surprised my daughter with her Juno baby for her 1st birthday and she loved Juno baby! Kisses and hugs were her reactions. Thanks!

My 15-month old niece was the guinea pig for this review. My wife was afraid maybe the large eyes would scare her but it didn't phase her in the least. In fact, she really doesn't seem to pay much attention to it. The product page says it is recommended for ages 12 months to 5 years and I am thinking maybe she is just too young for something like this. Right now what she (Gloria) seems to be most interested in are electronic devices - like cell phones and remote controls. She loves pushing buttons.As far as the Juno doll is concerned, she did show some interest, mainly pulling on its hair but hasn't shown any real affection for the doll. That's not a knock on the doll itself, just saying that in the particular case of my niece, she wasn't interested.Construction/quality-wise, the doll is very well-made. From the eyes of an adult (me), it looks attractive with the smiling, friendly face and bright colors. It is also soft and huggable and seems more personable to me than what comes to mind when I hear the word "doll" - something made of plastic that seems hard and lifeless. This one seems more like a doll with a personality. Maybe when Gloria is older she will appreciate the doll but for now, she'd rather punch the remote control buttons.

My baby LOVES Juno, I was so happy to see a plushie. It is very well made, super swoft and super adorbs. Love it!

When you buy the Juno Plush doll you get... Juno. If you child is a big fan of Juno videos (like Juno Jr. -- The Day the Music Stopped) it is very likely that they will like this doll. If your child has never watched Juno - well this will likely just be an overpriced plush doll.A few other facts- Seems to be well constructed - the pig tails are permanently stuck up.- Very brightly colored- As you would expect Juno looks identical to Juno!- Perfect size for a toddler to stick under there arm and lug around- Very soft - as you would expect from a plush toy.- The only possible choking hazard are the ribbons in Juno's hair, but both my wife and I think that this is very slim.Final Verdict - My daughter is a big fan of the Juno videos, but she isn't overly crazy about the Juno doll. My guess is that it is that she is a little too young to recognize that the doll looks exactly like the character on TV.4 Stars
