Outshines the other's I've bought
Years ago, I had a very small portable Sony AM/FM that was longlasting and had terrific reception. Alas, Sony discontinued that model and made a larger one - about an inch think and 4 inches tall. It was a complete waste of money--static mostly. I ordered a second, and had same reception problem. I just purchased a Jazmm portable AM/FM -much smaller and compact than the Sony. It takes 2 AAA batteries, as opposed to the AAs Sony requires. Immediately --great, clear sound. All sorts of features - sleep/snooze, etc. but what delights me is the reception. I'd been listening to the radio on my iphone, but the streaming often skipped. This is absolutely a first-rate product, and I am overjoyed. It's streamlined, super light and small, and dependable.

For the price, not a bad little radio.
This radio was easy to set up, owner’s manual was clear to read and with good information. The sound quality wasn’t to bad for this size radio and the price paid. AM and FM reception is good. The sound quality with earphones on FM is good and in stereo. AM band was also good. My only complaint was the display screen had a few minor scratches upon delivery. For the price, this radio seems to be a pretty good deal. Update: There was nothing wrong with the screen. I forgot to remove the protective strip on the screen. The company for this radio is excellent to deal with.

Great little radio with a battery problem.
This radio gets pretty good FM reception and serviceable AM reception. It still suffers from a decent amount of AM radio frequency interference but it seems to fair better than a few of my other analog pocket radios including my Sony ICF-S10MK2. Controls are a little obtuse and I wish you could move the tuner a bit faster but once you get all your favorite stations set to presets that ceases to be a problem.I found the LEDs in the display totally unnecessary and upon realizing the unit doesn't allow for them to be disabled I set about disabling them myself. I disassembled the radio and found the LEDs. My initial plan was to just desolder them off the board but they're placed just under the screen and that made that plan more work than I wanted to do. Instead I took a small metal pick and just kept poking/scraping the LEDs until I broke both of them. This improves battery life but I would imagine not by much. I really wish the radio gave you the option to disable the LEDs but whatever. They're disabled now!I'd recommend this radio because it has good to serviceable reception and is very tiny. Perfect for traveling as long as you bring at least one fresh set of batteries with you.Disassembly Instructions:2 screws behind the sticker on the back and then pry the case apart near the battery tray to release some plastic clips. As you move up the unit you'll find the top piece of plastic with the memory buttons and antenna is holding everything together. There are more plastic clips up there and once that top piece comes off the radio can be easily come apart. Be careful as there are very thin wires going between the unit and the speaker which is glued on the front case. Be careful not to break them when disassembling the unit. There is no need to remove the mainboard to disable the LED's as they are accessible from the top.

Good reception
This little radio works well for my needs. It is small and fits well into one of the pockets on my work lunch bag. Reception is pretty good also. My only reason for 3 star review is battery life. It would be nice if it was rechargeable but for the price what the heck. Just keep a couple extra batteries with you. Sound is decent on a personal volume level. The supplied earphones are not very good, but they work.

Battery life is nonexistent.
I bought this thinking it was the same as an old radio I used to use. My old radio would last for days without changing the batteries even when left at higher volumes. I would let it play in the background 24/7 at home, even when I wasn't there. This one literally last hours at best before it starts cutting out and then the batteries die in well less than 24 hours, no matter what volume. Do not buy this cheap POS.

Great little pocket radio
This is a great little pocket radio with all the features needed for carrying it around in your pocket. Tunes in AM/FM bands with many presets for favorite stations. Has alarm and sleep functions. The best thing about this radio is it has a lock buttons feature which allows you to put in in your pocket or carry it around and you wont accidentally change the station or the volume level. The last one of these I ordered came with bad audio. They were very understanding and helpful of my problem and quickly shipped me a new radio. I am very happy with the radio and the return service.

Great Customer Service
Enjoy using this product while tending my gardens. Bought one a few years ago and accidentally broke the antenna. So, I purchased it again in February. Unfortunately, in late June the radio stopped working but the clock continued to work. I contacted the company, and they immediately returned my email and offered a replacement. I agreed and within 5 days I had a replacement and I'm back to using it during my gardening escapades.

Eats batteries
Good sound and all but it goes through batteries at an alarming rate (at least mine did). So do not recommend
