600lb machines aren't easy to lift around
Item was supposed to contain 2 18inch bars and 2 12 inch bars and 8 bolts. I got 4 12 Inch bars and 4 bolts. This made it difficult to accomplish what i needed lucky i have other HTC mobile bases and was able to swap parts around and make things work. I ended up only needing the screws from this kit. Bought from Amazon warehouse deals so i assume someone bought 2 extension kits and returned all the short pieces. I'd return but i already used the parts and it's more work than it's worth to return it. 600lb machines aren't easy to lift around. The actual product deserves 4 stars because it does work well. 1 star to the schmuck fraudster that returned the product like this.

description is false
Product description at top of page says it comes with four 18 inch rails and hardware. In the manufacturer's description it says it comes with two 12 inch and 2 18 inch rails, but no mention of hardware. I got neither of these descriptions. I received four 12 inch (11.75 to be exact) rails and no hardware. I waited too long to assemble my base and can no longer return the item (I know my fault).

Great extensions for HTC2000. Have yet to sag or deform.
I have a review up for the Adjustable Mobile Base HTC2000 that is more in-depth, but I found nothing to fault with these rails. They performed well for my intended purpose - making a large table saw platform. My plans called for a much larger base than the base-level 2000 could fit. I have all these rails extended to their maximum safe working distance, and have not experienced any sag in 9 months or so.

Important addition for some applications.
Really helped to make the moveable base fit my particular saw. Only issue was it needed to include more screws for my liking. They sent more at my request but should have had more for my liking which is why it got 4 and not 5 stars. I've used the base for a while now and it has worked well.

Terrible hardware, strip with any hand force.
Ordered this to pair with the base which was black, product shown was black, but received white parts. Now the base looks hodge podge :( Throw out the 1/4-20 hardware that comes with it, they are trash will make you pull your hair out.

Works well
This set, (only used two of the four included pieces) made the wheeled HTC base usable for the larger stand of my jointer.

Didn’t receive all the parts I paid for.
Would have preferred white rails like with the caster kit. Only four nuts and bolts were included and couldn’t complete the project. This is the second order for the rail kit that only four nuts and bolts were included. The spec picture shows eight nuts and bolts. Didn’t receive all the parts I paid for.

but the kit they were intended to go with is so nice that I'm giving them a 5-star rating
To be honest, it turned out that I didn't need these for mounting my bandsaw, but the kit they were intended to go with is so nice that I'm giving them a 5-star rating. I'm sure they would have worked very well if I'd actually needed them ... and I'll find a use for them eventually.

Not exactly as advertised.
Mine only came with 4 nuts and 4 bolts, enough to add 1 rail at either end. Main description with photo says 4 - 18" rails, but only had 2 - 18", and 2 - 12". Should have come with more nuts and bolts.

Works as advertised.
If used correctly and there is provision made for overlap on the hole pattern, the extensions are extremely stable. I used mine to extend a mobile base wide enough to accommodate a mini wood lathe. Had no problems.
