They certainly taste fine and because I used them to make a cheesecake crust it wasn’t a big deal for me, but I gave a tin as a gift and that mess was kind of embarrassing.

I loved the cookies that I bought for Christmas two years ago, so I reordered last year. But they arrived mostly crumbled up and broken. First time the tin was lined with paper, but the next year there was no lining or protection whatsoever! 90 % of the cookies where broken or crumbled, and unfit for serving in company! After further investigation two dents were found in the bottom of the tin near the edge. It appeared that it had been hit by something, the tin was not heavy enough to cause dents like that by falling down.I reordered for Christmas again this year, thinking that last year was just an accident. But no, they arrived again crumbled an unfit for serving. There was also a dent in the bottom of the tin this time as well. It needs to be packaged and shipped more carefully!

The tin is beautiful, the cookies taste delicious but they arrived absolutely broken and smashed down to the last one. Fine for myself but total useless as a gift or to put out on the dessert table for a holiday party. Some kind of internal packaging is needed to protect the cookies as they are quite delicate and thin, and are not packed tightly enough in the metal tin to avoid movement during shipping. Unless the packaging is improved I would not purchase these again.

These are a tasty ginger cookie and would make an great gift if there weren’t so many broken cookies in the tin. I don’t mind eating crumbles but not attractive as a gift. Delicious flavor and just right for a lightly sweet small treat though.

REGARDING A TIN OF COOKIES FROM SWEDEN, BOUGHT AT AMAZON. THE COOKIES WERE IN SMALL PIECES AND THE TIN WAS NOT LINED INSIDE. I WROTE A LETTER TO THE SWEDISH ORIGIN. AMAZON INFO SAID THEY COULD NOT BE RETURNED.

Please read thru the reviews before ordering IF this will be a gift or used to serve at a party as it seems I'm not the only one who received a tin of mostly crushed cookies.The flavor is spot on (same flavor as my Grandmother's so I was thrilled) and they arrived so fresh which is why I think they crumbled so easily. I recall my grandmother's (and later, mine, after I got her recipe) as being firmer. These literally melt in your mouth while mine did same, but not so quickly.I was to bring these to a holiday open house so it was a total waste of money which was refunded by Amazon, but not easily as I had to google to find their phone number and then jump thru many hoops to get a live person to help.I will buy these in the future when to munch in the home, but I'll buy cookies from this company in a box to save money as I already have loads of tins.Bottom line, if these are for you and you don't care about presentation, they these are simply the best flavor AND so very fresh!

they taste really good, and plus, after the cookies are finished you get a nice tin out of it, to put sewing supplies in, or to use as percussion for a slipknot cover band, dudeas others are saying however, yes the cookies will most likely be broken with very few intact, as mine were, making them a risky thing to gift someone. buying imported cookie tins online might not be a smart move if you want to ensure the cookies look pretty for whatever reasonbut as for me, who just got these to taste some nice pepparkakor, and who needed a new drum, i am satisfied haha

Buy them for the taste, not the shape. Every time (3) I buy these they arrive mostly all in broken pieces.
