I have a front garden which needed a revamp which would require not allowing some old bulbs to come up and obviously any persistent weeds. I dug out two old shrubs, removed as many bulbs as possible ( there were literally hundreds of tiny baby bulbs) and weeded . I’d ordered a piece of this that just fit my space with a little extra. I cut it to size, pegged it into position and made cross holes through it where I wanted new shrubs. The plastic is very thick in comparison to others I’ve tried. It’s like plastic shreds all moulded together. It cut easily with a pair of sharp scissors. I tried it with a garden knife first but found the scissors better. The pegs are a nice length ( about 6 inches) and there were plenty to ensure it stays in place. They pushed through the plastic with no issues. I should have taken a picture before I put the bark on but the finished area is lovely. It allows water to penetrate but it stops weeds growing from underneath. I expect I will get a few round the edges but that’s so much easier to deal with than a whole area. You could tape pieces of this together or just overlap any edges and peg through all the layers. I was surprised at the quality of this considering the price and I’m expecting it to do a great job. I’d definitely order more and am currently debating how to change my back garden so it’s easier to manage. Another piece of this will definitely be featured. Really excellent quality.

The pegs provided with the sheet are very weak and unusable as they bend when we tried and pin the sheet down to the ground . We couldn’t secure the sheet , so had to find an alternative
