Trader Joes Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce, 12 oz Jar - 2 pack

This is my favorite sauce in the world. I'm so sad Trader Joe's discontinued it. I've looked everywhere to buy more.

RIP OFF !!!!!I knew T.J.'s had disco'd this delicious , perfect, clean simmer sauce and replaced it with a sub-par that looks like predigested baby food with short cut to good ingredients.What is pictured is the old sauce what I received today was the new recipe, for $1.99 @ Trader Joe's. (old sauce was $1.99 too)

I've search high and low for the best prepared curry sauce and this is at the top.

The green curry advertised is great sauce but Trader Joe's no longer carries this product. I bought it on line and received a different green currie...not cool. Please be careful when ordering.

The original Trader Joe's Thai Green Curry Simmer Sauce was one of my family's favorite dishes. Whether at home or on vacation, we would travel near or far with the sole purpose of stocking up on jars of this ambrosia. Of course we'd pick up plenty of other things while we were there, but that spicy green curry was the main draw. That all came to an end the day that they discontinued the original sauce and introduced this new sauce. Original sauce, I couldn't get enough of it. New sauce, I can't even stomach it. We bought our normal 10 jars, hoping it was just different packaging. Alas, not so. I tried to have an open mind about it. The flavor was just such a disappointment. After the first couple of dinners where we all just picked at the curry over rice, we ended up throwing the rest of the jars away. I still make the drive to Trader Joe's occasionally for other items, especially the Green Dragon Sauce, but those trips are now very infrequent.

The old "Trader Joe's Thai Green Sauce" was perfect in every way! I never needed to add one thing to tweak it, it was that delicious. The new sauce that Trader Joe's is carrying 180º opposite, it was so bad I didn't even know what I should add to correct the flavor. If only they could only get it back, I'd be so happy. I use to tell friends that I could cook it with cardboard and it would still be the best...Joke!
