Safari Ltd. Sea Dragon Figurine - Detailed 7" Plastic Model Figure - Intricate Oceanic Dragon Play Toy for Boys, Girls & Kids Age 3+

I don't understand why someone said that the dragon is not for children because my son is 4 years old, has autism and ADHD and he's obsessed with this dragon, and nothing bad has happened, he loves this dragon so much that I had to buy another one but it's black and purple, he's always carrying his dragons, he also loves snakes, insects and sharks. It's cute, has a great size and so much fun for him, my son has throw it in middle of his meltdowns and it's still strong as the 1st day!

I'm a grandmother and I just purchased 5 dragons for myself and to display on my wall unit. Yes myself not my grandchildren. Game of Thrones inspired this purchase as I've always loved dragons. This Cloud Dragon is indescribably beautiful. IT IS AWESOME!! IT IS EXQUISITE!!! The teal blue paint is irridescent with a metallic sheen. The wings are a work of art. They look like delicate translucent skin even though it is rubberized. His expression is fierce and ready for battle. The " toe nails " are a bright platinum silver. Detailed silver scales on his neck lined with hot pink down to the tip of his tail. I am so happy just looking at these dragons in my living room. Every time I walk by them I think, "I'm so happy I bought these". Even my husband likes them. All the Safari dragons are extremely special and well worth the money.but this one is a winner!! The Cloud Dragon looks like 3X the price. If you can't decide which one to purchase I hope I've helped you make a decision. you'll be extremely happy with.Not to say the least, it is very sturdy and would make a durable gift for a chld but I'm keeping this one all to myself. I'm sure once my 7 year old grandson sees this impressive collection (I just received them yesterday) I'll be making another purchase or 2.

I started collecting Mythical creatures and mutants because I love sword & sorcery and many of the figures do not fit in the correct time frame to add to my medevil knights battle. So I created a second diarama, one that allows me the freedom of putting different figures together. A good wizard that has brought back heroes through out time, and a evil wizard that has brought mutants & the greek creatures. After getting the Safari Hydra I was so impressed with the detail and beautiful paint job I started getting other dragons. Schliech & Papo put out great knights & pirates & other figures & Safari allso puts out some top quality human figures but it is with there dragons that they leave the compatition in the dust!!! I have never been disappointed with a Safari dragon purchase and Safari offers a large selection to choose from. For those of you out there that love dragons look to Safari to meet your needs there are no juvinile comic portrail of dragons here, here there be DRAGONS... fierce,aggressive dragons that are so well sculpted and painted that I am sure they will only increase in value. These figurines are much more than just toys they are individualy painted makeing each one unique and collectable.

Cool looking dragon.

This is a good looking dragon and the details in the paint job like the eyes and claws are really nicely done. But the whole thing is just kind of plain white. The sculpt is great and the texture on the scales looks really good close up, but you lose the definition at an arms length. I'll probably end up trying to wash and/or dry brush it to bring out the great textures and really elevate this piece.

The toy itself was bigger than i expected, and had transparent webbing features that i hadn't realized would be there looking at the photos. One of his horns was bent at an odd angle and i can't get it to stand right, but that's a pretty complaint. The toy isn't articulated but the pose is decent enough for play or display. The details surpassed my expectations.I purchased one for a pirate game in D&D for ship-to-monster combat, and it's perfect for the task. A bit over-scaled but not to a point where it's unusable, more like a late-game enemy. It's worth noting that im using the wizkids pirates of the cursed seas miniature ships with it, so that accounts for most of my scaling problems.If your buying this for a young kid however, i couldn't recommend it enough! The toy is made of sturdy plastic that could deal with "energetic" battles with other figures, and it's small enough to easily go on trips with. The transparent features are a fun addition and are sure to excite the imaginations of young kids.

The glow-in-the-dark plastic dragon was well packed in plastic molding. The dragon himself is slightly flexible which is a nice feature as it reduces the chance of breakage greatly. This is not a young child’s toy at all.The dragon invites further painting using either glow-in-the-dark paint or neon paint. I found a 1” diameter glass ball was a perfect match for the dragon’s outstretched claw. A bit of hunter’s orange yarn works for the flames. Alien tape holds the dragon in place.If a glow in the dark dragon doesn’t bring a smile and earn a five star review … what does?
