Q: the shoes that i received doesn't have brand name on the front like pictures? is it actually original?

The shoes i have purchased have the brand name " Hush Puppies " printed on the side of the shoe near the gusset.

Q: Are these shoes waterproof, eg for walking across wet grass?

This style is not guaranteed to be waterproof.

Q: My dad has a high instep would these be ok

I have flat swollen feet (poor circulation) and I find these OK but in my opinion the fit of shoes is very personal and I have found that shoes that are supposedly the same style and size can vary between pairs. So my advice would be to try them and if they are not comfortable send them back.

Q: Are the soles 'spongy' material or 'hard' & not too flexible??

The soles are of a lightweight spongy material similar to a trainer, also to add these shoes are really comfortable , so good I bought another pair. recommended.
