Our 16 yr old makes something from this book ea week. Recipes are easy to follow and the ingredient lists are not too long. He is building good skills.

Bought for my grandson. He’s starting to cook a bit.

Easy to read and the book is good quality.

This cookbook is great but there no need to pictures to reference.

Love the recipes they have in this book. They’re very good and easy for kids that are starting out in the kitchen

I've been home schooling my kid on and off again for years. 99% of schools no longer teach home ech. Which is a crime in my book lol. I started off with one of this books collection (set) just to see if it be easy enough for my kid to do with little help. The book was very clear and had her making homemade Nacho chips. She got really into an loved it when it was her night to make dinner. I got a few more of the books and while there are no photos, the recipes are wonderful. With a wide range of foods to do. She made everything from veg soups, croissant, home made noodles and more. One of the reasons I love these cookbooks is because none of the recipes in the book are silly cheap hacks that taste nasty...like the many cookbooks I've seen where it tells the user to get a can of biscuit cut a hole in the middle and fry it. Claiming this is a donuts....In one of theses books it showed how to make donuts from scratch. There no short cuts or hacks in these books that will force you to buy things that will not taste right. If your looking for a cookbook that will really teach your teen how to make GOOD healthy meals from scratch, along with some not so healthy ones lol. This is it. My daughter already looked throw this book which we got today and had marked 15 recipes she wants to do next week. Cheesy Potato soup, spicy nacho dog, and crispy fish taco where just the first three. So ya this is the right book if you want your teen to cook. Once you've done it 1 or 2 but the 3rd time they'll be telling YOU to get out of there kitchen while they working.

I have a girl's cooking class so I have to get some good recipes to use.

Very few pictures. Recipes are ok, but my daughter likes to see what it looks like before she makes it.
